A correlational study was conducted between resilience and depression in educational institutions of Lima, with male and female students from 3rd-5fth secondary, the which a party not involved in violence and other self. The instruments used for assessment were the Resilience Scale and Adolescent Depression Inventory. Results show that positive correlations exist on internal components of both tests, while the correlation between them the relationship is more diverse. We identified differences between violent and nonviolent students. as to the confidence, authoritarianism and suicidal thoughts factors. Also, in comparison intersex, identified differences between women and men regarding the degree of emotional control, decision making, self-criticism, tendency to weep, and other variables. The study was conducted in schools in Lima Metropolitana cones, with a sample of teens and preteens school male and female participants and non participants in violent acts. The instruments used were restructured factor: the Social Skills Scale (EHS) of Gismero. Leaving two factors: the ability to cope with adverse situations and ability to make appropriate requests, and the Philosophy of Life Questionnaire (FV) of Diaz-Guerrero. Leaving factors: Love adversus Power (FV1) and External Factor adversus Internal Factor (FV2). The result shows a low and positive relationship between variables. In this investigation the relations between the psychological well-being are examined, the assertiveness and the academic yield in the students of representative Faculties of the diverse areas of study of the University of San Marcos. For it, the Scale of Psychological Wellbeing of Ryff (that measures positive relations, autonomy, dominion of the surroundings, personal growth and intention in the life), the Inventory of Asertividad de Rathus and the academic yield were used. El objetivo del presente estudio es indagar la posible relación entre los estilos de personalidad y la satisfacción por áreas vitales en estudiantes de la carrera de Psicología de una universidad pública de Lima. Se tomó una muestra de 417 alumnos, 235 mujeres y 182 varones, se aplicó la escala de satisfacción por áreas vitales (SAV) y el cuestionario exploratorio de la personalidad (CEPER III). Se detectaron asociaciones negativas entre la escala SAV y los estilos de personalidad del CEPER III. Pero sí se detectaron múltiples correlaciones positivas, en el estilo histriónico, narcisista y obsesivo compulsivo con la satisfacción en áreas vitales.

The objective of the present study is to investigate the possible relationship between personality styles and satisfaction by vital areas in students of psychology of a public University in Lima. Took a sample of 417 students, 182 men and 235 women, applied the scale of satisfaction by vital areas (SAV) and the exploratory personality questionnaire (CEPER III). Negative associations between the SAV scale and CEPER III personality styles were detected. But if there were multiple positive correlations, in the style Histrionic,narcissistic and obsessive compulsive with satisfaction in vital areas.
