This study aims to evaluate and compare each other, surface-active additives on the inhibition and control of acid mist, as well as different control parameters and operation of the copper electrowinning process, such as surface tension electrolyte effect on current efficiency, energy consumption and cathode quality. Mujer de 70 años de edad, sin antecedentes de importancia. Acude al centro de Endoscopía Digestiva del servicio de Gastroenterología del Hospital Nacional “Arzobispo Loayza” donde se le practica Endoscopia alta, indicada por presentar Síndrome Doloroso abdominal. La endoscopia alta concluye como presencia de lesión en relación a Cáncer gástrico precoz tipo IIa+IIc que se confirma con la patología. Se realiza tratamiento endoscópico mediante Disección endoscópica sub-mucosa (DES) usando el IT-Knife2, lográndose extirpar la lesión en su totalidad conforme confirma el estudio de pieza resecada. Control endoscópico a las 10 semanas muestra cicatriz roja y la biopsia negativa para neoplasia. Se reporta este caso por ser el primero publicado en nuestro medio en el que se usó DES curativa.

INTRODUCCIÓN: la canulación profunda de la via biliar principal es requisito para una Pancreato-colangiografía Retrograda Endoscópica (PCRE) de carácter terapéutico. El pre corte es una técnica practicada en casos de canulación difícil. Objetivo: Reportar los casos de pacientes con canulación difícil y fistulotomia suprapapilar como un método para la canulación selectiva del colédoco. Reportar la eficacia, hallazgos demográficos, endoscópicos y complicaciones de éste procedimiento. MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS: estudio prospectivo, descriptivo y observacional de casos. A froghopper (Aeneolamia spp.) plague can trigger major economic losses in sugarcane plantations in countries such as El Salvador and others in Latin America. Losses are often due to a lack of understanding of the life cycle of a pest and the underestimation of its annual reproductive potential. An algorithm was developed to model the most relevant aspects of froghopper reproduction and its interactions with the environment, to facilitate the prediction of potential increases in adult populations and its propagation in fields. En el presente trabajo se evaluó la inclusión de harina pre-gelatinizada de maca (Lepidium peruvianum G. Chacón) en términos de supervivencia, tasa de crecimiento (TC), conversión alimenticia (CA) y coeficiente de digestibilidad aparente de la materia seca de la dieta (CDA). Se formularon 4 dietas isoprotéicas e isocalóricas, las cuales fueron suplementadas con 4 niveles de harina de maca pre-gelatinizada: 0 (dieta testigo, T1), 5 (dieta T2), 10 (dieta 3), 15% (dieta 4) cada uno realizado por triplicado. Se intenta contribuir en el conocimiento de los síntomas y factores asociados a la infección por Blastocystis hominis en concurrentes a la consulta externa del Departamento de Enfermedades Transmisibles y Dermatológicas (DETD) del HNCH. Este es un estudio caso-control realizado en personas entre los 5 y 80 años de edad en el período de Enero a Marzo de 1999. Los casos tuvieron exámenes parasitológicos positivos a B. hominis en ausencia de otros enteropatógenos. Catalysts based on Ni-Fe-a with a catalyst ratio of a = Ni/(Ni + Fe) (a = 0.8 and 0.9) supported on γ-Al2O3 were prepared by coprecipitation-deposition and tested for the oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH) of ethane. The bulk mixed samples exhibited 30% greater selectivity toward ethylene than did the corresponding simple oxide NiO. Meanwhile, the most selective sample, NiFe-0.9/γ-Al2O3, achieved a maximum of 94% at 400 °C. The remarkable selectivity of NiFe-0.9/γ-Al2O3 was attributed to the partial substitution effect of Ni2+ by Fe3+, thus allowing those catalysts to form oxygen sites that are specific for the partial oxidation of ethane to ethylene. Objetivo. Determinar la concordancia entre cinco criterios diagnósticos de síndrome metabólico (SM) entre adolescentes residentes de una zona altoandina del Perú. Materiales y métodos. Se realizó un estudio transversal con datos secundarios de un estudio de intervención en dos escuelas públicas en el año 2019. Participaron 397 adolescentes que residen en la ciudad de Cajamarca ubicada en la región andina del Perú. Se aplicaron cinco criterios diagnósticos: Third Adult Treatment Panel (ATP-III) modificados por Cook, de la Federación Internacional de Diabetes (IDF), de la American Heart Association (AHA), de Ferranti, y de la Organización Mundial de Salud (OMS).
