At present, the transformations in society have permeated the institutions of work and family. Through a mixed methodology, we sought to know the meanings that 105 people who work for pay attribute to “Work” and “Family” in times of health emergency. Natural semantic networks were used to explore meanings and simple correspondence analysis to establish associations. The results obtained provided evidence about the meaning of work and family as social constructions, which are part of the individual and cultural identity of people, as well as the significant relationship of these constructs with gender and age.

Accepted: 19 Oct. 2021 Introduction: In recent years, greater attention has been paid to research on sexual satisfaction because of its association with general well-being and increased interest in sexual and public health issues. Objectives: The objective of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Satisfaction with Sex Life Scale (SWSLS). Methods: 2,154 Portuguese individuals (M = 34.67 years, SD = 17.18) participated. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and item response theory (IRT) were used. Specifically, the internal structure, reliability and factor invariance of the SWSLS were evaluated by sex and age, as well as the characteristics and performance of the items based on the IRT analysis. Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has revealed the fragility of the global food system, sending shockwaves across countries' societies and economy. This has presented formidable challenges to sustaining a healthy and resilient lifestyle. The objective of this study is to examine the food consumption patterns and assess diet diversity indicators, primarily focusing on the food consumption score (FCS), among households in 38 countries both before and during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
