This article deals with a project developed pursuing two parallel subjects: one, the analysis of production processes in small and micro enterprises (Pymes) that make stainless steel domestic goods, and two, the design and manufacturing of prototype products. A characteristic of the pymes sector is that their processes are based on plastic misshaping, thus obtaining middle?quality products, revolution geometric shapes, and little complexity; this is eminently a handmade process.

Tomando en cuenta nuestras altas cifras de morbimortalidad por esta patología a nivel nacional superiores a las de otros países de la región, sugerimos que nuestras autoridades y gestores de salud sigan desarrollando estrategias a nivel nacional para mejorar el proceso de atención del infarto de miocardio con elevación del segmento ST, implementando un sistema de redes para la atención del infarto, fortaleciendo la estrategia farmacoinvasiva oportuna en centros periféricos sin capacidad de ICP, y mejorando la capacidad de ICP primaria en los principales hospitales de nuestro país.

Pancreatic hamartomas (PH) are extremely unusual non-neoplastic tumor-like lesions and accounts for <1% of all hamartomas. Moreover, there is a distinct variant of PH denominated Pancreatic lipomatous hamartoma (PLH), that is even rarer, with only 5 cases, including the present case, reported in the literature. PLH lacks well-defined features and clinically can be mistaken with other lipomatous lesions of the pancreas, including lipoma, pancreatic lipomatosis, PEComa, liposarcoma, and malignant tumors with lipomatous components. Here, we describe a case of PLH in a 70-year-old male with abdominal pain and a lesion, which was preoperatively diagnosed as a pancreatic no functional low-grade neuroendocrine tumor, and subsequent underwent a laparoscopic enucleation of the tumor. The postoperative pathology and immunohistochemical analyses confirmed the diagnosis of PLH.

The diverse properties of the minerals to be stored in Ontologies can be extracted by means of the semantic query language. Finally, this ontological model can be used in the future for the implementation of a portal built with Semantic Web tools, so that mineral property searches are faster and more accurate.

Las diversas propiedades de los minerales al estar almacenada en Ontologías se pueden extraer mediante el uso del lenguaje de consultas semántico. Finalmente, dicho modelo Ontológico diseñado se puede usar en el futuro para la implementación de un portal construido con las herramientas de la Web Semántica, para que las búsquedas de propiedades de los minerales sean más rápidas y precisas.

Zea mays "maize" is one of the most important staple foods for both humans and animals, but it is highly susceptible to pathogens such as toxigenic Aspergillus flavus. Yeasts, however, have the potential to control the growth and activity of toxigenic fungi, representing a viable and economical alternative for biocontrol. This study is aimed at evaluating the efficiency of yeasts in controlling toxigenic A. flavus associated with maize grains. To achieve this, toxigenic A. flavus and yeast isolates were obtained and identified, then coinoculated in vitro to assess their effect on mycelial growth inhibition and total aflatoxin production through yeast-derived volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Summary: Breast-implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL) is a non-Hodgkin lymphoma that arises in the space between the surface of a breast implant and the fibrous capsule that grows around the implant. Since its first description 20 years ago, almost 1000 cases of BIA-ALCL have been diagnosed worldwide. Nowadays, guidelines describe the diagnosis, staging, and treatment of this disease. Objective: Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) and Helicobacter pylori (HP) infections have been extensively recognised as gastric cancer (GC) triggers, and recent publications suggest they could behave as predictive markers for immune-modulating therapies. Tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) have also been identified as a predictive biomarker for immunotherapy in different malignancies. This study aimed to investigate the association between EBV and HP infection with TIL levels in GC.
