Este trabajo se ha desarrollado con el objetivo de: determinar la relación entre los hábitos de cuidado dental y la caries en niños de 6 a 7 años en la institución educativa 18092. Pomacochas, Amazonas 2022. Metodología: fue transversal, cuantitativo, correlacional, descriptivo, prospectivo. Introduction. Multidrug-resistant Salmonella Infantis have been isolated in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia in the recent past years. Objectives. To evaluate the emergence and burden of Salmonella Infantis infection in a public hospital of Lima, Peru. Methods. We prospectively followed consecutive cases of salmonellosis at Cayetano Heredia hospital (October 2015-May 2017). Detection of invA gene by PCR and determination of serovars by a multiplex PCR were performed. Antimicrobial susceptibility was assessed by disk diffusion method. Introduction:In contrast to other countries in Latin America, Peru had been notoriously spared by the global dissemination of carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CR-Kp) until recently. Introduction: Cervical cancer is a public health problem. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about prevention and risk factors for cervical cancer in women of a technical institute in the city of Cali, Colombia. Methods: Cross-sectional study with the participation of 131 women enrolled in any of the academic programs of the educational institution, to whom a structured survey was applied. Results: The general average of positive answers was 51.7%. The correct knowledge on prevention was calculated in 86.1%, while the knowledge of risk factors was estimated in 34.6%. Conclusions: We found a high level of knowledge regarding cytology and the vaccine against human papillomavirus in questions of preventive methods, but the knowledge on risk factors for the development of cervical cancer was low. The presence of crpP was established in 201 Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates from 9 Peruvian hospitals. The 76.6% (154/201) of the isolates presented the crpP gene. Overall, 123/201 (61.2%) isolates were non-susceptible to ciprofloxacin. The prevalence of crpP-possessing P. aeruginosa in Peru is higher than in other geographical areas.
