The objective of the study was to describe the viability of Orestias luteus Valenciennes, 1846 with food dependence on the yolk sac. The tendency to die of prelarvae during the first seven days was increasing. The study was carried out in theprototype culture laboratory of Fundación Titicaca Perú (FUNTI-PERU), Puno, Perú. As biological material, 100 units of O. luteus prelarvae were used and distributed in two aquariums with 50 specimens each. The environmental quality of the water was controlled by a HANNA HI98194 multiparameter meter (temperature = 12°C-15°C, dissolved oxygen= 6.0 mg·L-1 - 6.3 mg·L-1, pH = 7.0 - 7.5). The aim of the study was to describe the exogenous larval feeding and survival of Orestias luteus (Valenciennes, 1846) under controlled conditions. The study was carried out in the prototype culture laboratory of the Fundación Titicaca Perú (FUNTI-PERU) in the city of Puno, Peru. Biological material was used, 896 units of O. luteus larvae where it was distributed in three treatments and with three repetitions: 1st) T1 = 299 units, 2nd) T2 = 300 units and 3rd) T3 = 297 units. The objective of the study was to describe the total postlarval length of Trichomycterus rivulatus Valenciennes, 1846 (suche) under controlled conditions. A total of 887 postlarvae of T. rivalatus after 25 days post-hatching was used as biological material. Water quality (temperature, dissolved oxygen and pH) was controlled. Before each feeding, siphoning was done to remove food debris and 90% of the water volume was replaced in all treatments. Growth (total length) was measured with a millimeter ruler (precision ± 0.01) at the beginning and end of the experimental phase. Survival for each experimental treatment before live feed supply was: T2 = 99.66% > T1 = 98.97% > T3 = 97.63%. La extinción de especies nativas del lago Titicaca resulta uno de los mayores problemas no solo para la salud humana por consumo alimentario, sino además en la subsistencia propia de las especies. El objetivo de esta investigación fue producir alevinos en la especie Orestias luteus mediante reproducción artificial con alimentación natural para su conservación en el lago Titicaca, Puno-Perú. El estudio se realizó durante los meses de febrero hasta noviembre del 2013. Para la conservación, se analizó la fecundación artificial mediante el método seco, así como la producción de cadena alimentaria viva en ambiente controlado. El estudio se llevó a cabo con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de las dietas formuladas con ensilado de residuos industriales pesqueros en la producción de trucha arcoíris (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Se planteó la hipótesis de que el ensilado, elaborado mediante la fermentación de residuos industriales pesqueros utilizando bacterias lácticas, melaza, azúcar y sorbato de potasio, podría sustituir parcialmente la harina de pescado en las dietas de trucha sin afectar negativamente los parámetros productivos.
