Objetivo: determinar la relación entre Funcionamiento Familiar y Estilos de Aprendizaje en estudiantes del quinto año del nivel secundario de una Institución Educativa estatal de Lima Norte. Materiales y métodos: el estudio corresponde al tipo correlacional de corte transversal no experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 120 estudiantes de quinto año del nivel secundario. Los instrumentos utilizados para la medición de las variables fueron: a) Ficha de datos sociodemográficos, b) Escala de evaluación de la cohesión y adaptabilidad familiar FACES III, c) Cuestionario HONEY- ALONSO de estilos de aprendizaje. The research proposes through interviews, workshops, talks and sociocultural encounters, to link the inhabitants of the town of Caibarién located in the municipality of the same name in the province of Villa Clara, Cuba, to the knowledge of Invasive Exotic Species and their undesirable effects to the Cuban vulnerable ecosystems and to human health and in particular of the Lissachatina fulica (Bowdich, 1822) species, the Giant African Snail.
