El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar el efecto de la temperatura del agua en el desarrollo inicial de gamitana (Colossoma macropomum), en condiciones de selva alta, distrito Mariscal Benavides, provincia Rodríguez de Mendoza, región Amazonas - Perú. La evaluación se realizó en tres etapas de desarrollo inicial: post larvas, pre alevinos y alevinos durante 60 días con cuatro temperaturas, considerando un diseño experimental de 4A x 3B, con mediciones de parámetros de calidad de agua en intervalo de 2 horas.
