The effect of including fish protein hydrolyzate in the diet on body growth and proximate composition of the muscle of juvenile spotted tiger shovelnose catfish (Pseudoplatystoma punctifer) was evaluated. A completely randomized experimental design with a 2x4 factorial arrangement (2 diets, 4 sampling times [days 15, 30, 45 and 60]) was used, resulting in 8 treatments with 3 replications each. The formulated diets were isocaloric (42.15% CP) and isoproteic (4 415.69 kcal EB kg-1): a control (DT; without supplementation) and another with the inclusion of 1.20% fish protein hydrolyzate (DHP) in substitution of fishmeal. El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como finalidad la generación de una herramienta que facilite el diagnóstico previo del estado del deterioro del riñón, en pacientes sanos y con enfermedades renales, utilizando algoritmos de redes neuronales convolucionales desde un aplicativo móvil, e imágenes de resultados de exámenes de orine realizados a partir de tiras reactivas. Este aplicativo permite la determinación de dos estados de salud: “Enfermo” y “Sano”. Se ha utilizado como dataset un banco compuesto de 268 imágenes (154 imágenes de tiras reactivas con resultados de pacientes “Sanos” y 154 imágenes de tiras reactivas con resultados de pacientes “Enfermos”). Estudou-se o efeito da inclusão da farinha de microalga, derivada de Schizochytrium sp. e rica em ácido docosahexaenoico, na dieta de tambaqui sobre o crescimento dos peixes e o perfil de ácidos graxos poli-insaturados de cadeia longa no filé, estabelecendo-se o prazo mínimo de fornecimento da dieta que promova o incremento no teor desses ácidos graxos no filé de tambaqui e, consequentemente, melhore a qualidade nutricional do peixe. Se estudió el efecto de la inclusión de la harina de microalga, derivada de Schizochytrium sp. y rica en ácido docosahexaenoico, en la dieta de tambaqui sobre el crecimiento de los peces y el perfil de ácidos grasos poliinsaturados de cadena larga en el filete, estableciendo el plazo mínimo de suministro de la dieta que promueve el incremento en el contenido de estos ácidos grasos en el de la misma forma que la calidad nutricional del pescado.

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of a vegetable diet compared to a diet containing fishmeal at the commercial level (6%) on body growth, proximal composition of fillets and hematological parameters of juvenil gamitana (Colossoma macropomum). The experiment followed a completely randomized design with two treatments, an exclusively vegetable diet and a diet with low fishmeal content (6%), and three 200 m3 dug earthen ponds as experimental units per treatment. A total of 1200 fish (172.9 g; 19.4 cm) distributed in the six ponds (1 fish/m3) were used. Feeding was done twice a day (08:00 and 16:00) at a daily feeding rate of 2% for 60 days. The water quality parameters were monitored daily and showed constant values and within the comfort range of the species. It includes results of a mobile app development and validation process made for children of pre school education in the indigenous community Centro Arenal (Huitoto ethnic group), to learn the basic content of their parents' native language through mobile devices (cell phones and tablets). And once that strengthen their cultural identity. Since 10 years ago Loreto is the last in educational indicators. In the Peruvian Amazon, 43 official languages are spoken, 27 of them in Loreto (all the Amazonian languages are in danger of disappearing). The intercultural bilingual education system is very limited (single-parent, multi-grade and multi-course) also, there is not educational content printed in indigenous languages. The results were favorable, being the application a relevant alternative, usable and accessible for educational institutions and Huitoto families.
