La prevención de la violencia de género en la escuela no solo debe enfocarse en los estudiantes sino a nivel de toda la comunidad educativa, siendo el profesor un factor clave para el cambio de patrones arraigados; la investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar si las Herramientas de gamificación educativas mejoran los conocimientos y actitudes contra el sexismo, en docentes de bachillerato. La investigación adoptó un enfoque aplicado, con un diseño cuasiexperimental y un enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra constó de 40 docentes de bachillerato, divididos en un grupo experimental de 20 y un grupo de control de 20. The research was carried out with the purpose of demonstrating that the implementation of the Socio-emotional Education Program contributes to reducing attitudes of School Violence in Superior Basic students at an Educational Institution in Ecuador during the year 2023. To achieve this objective, an applied methodology was adopted with a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 76 students, evenly divided into a control group and an experimental group, to whom a pretest and a posttest of the school violence questionnaire were administered. The pretest results revealed that 27.6% (16 participants) of the control group and 40.8% (31 participants) of the experimental group had a high attitude towards school violence. The objective of the research was to improve in a participatory way the teaching competencies in education for sustainable development (ESD) in an educational institution in Ecuador. The study was conducted based on the Rounder Sense of Purpose competency framework (Vare, 2018). Under the qualitative approach and under action research, we worked with eleven participants, with whom interviews and focus groups were conducted. As a consequence, in the diagnostic phase, the management, competencies and teaching practices in ESD were analyzed. From there, eight competencies were selected for the implementation of a training program. The program was executed and finally the evaluation was carried out, reflecting on the entire process.
