El objetivo general del estudio fue determinar la relación existente entre la formación investigativa y la producción científica en docentes de una universidad privada de Lima. En tal sentido las variables fueron formación investigativa y producción científica, las dimensiones definidas fueron capacitación investigativa, habilidad investigativa y actividad investigativa. El estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, fue de tipo básico, con un nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental.
