En los últimos años, en el Perú se han desarrollado esfuerzos por mejorar la calidad y la equidad de la educación intercultural bilingüe (EIB); sin embargo, aún se evidencian serias deficiencias en el logro de aprendizajes. Las investigaciones de los estudiantes de pregrado de las carreras EIB son una fuente de conocimiento importante a considerar para la mejora de este fenómeno. Este estudio tuvo como principal objetivo formular un estado del arte de la producción del conocimiento en las tesis de licenciatura de los egresados de las carreras en EIB de instituciones licenciadas en el Perú. Se realizó desde un enfoque mixto, integrando métodos y procedimientos cualitativos y cuantitativos para la recolección y el análisis de la información, pues se buscó obtener un acercamiento más completo al objeto de estudio. This case-study analyzes the coherence between discourses and teachers’ practices of teachers to attend diversity of their students in Language course. It includes the visit to 6 Educational Institutions in which the authors completed 14 classrooms’ observations and 12 teachers’ interviews from rural public multigrade elementary schools in Tacna and Ayacucho Regions of Peru. There is a partial coherence between discourse and practice in attention to children’s diversity by grade or cycle, but not by gender, age, cultural styles and learning rhythms. Analysis’ categories: a) Teachers discourse about i) Students’ diversity; ii) Multigrade teaching in response to students’ diversity and c) Teachers’ practices in multigrade class-room towards diversity.
