Desde su fundación en 1963 fueron aumentando sus servicios hacia la población siendo un equipamiento de vital importancia para la salud pú- blica de los pobladores. En 1970 debido al terremoto su estructura se vio afectada de manera considerable y al pasar de los años fue empeorando, esto sumado a la falta de abastecimiento del hospital debido al incremento de la demanda de la población hacen que no cuente con las condiciones básicas para su correcto funcionamiento. Por lo cual se realizó una investi- gación abarcando diversas variables dando como resultado un proyecto fac- tible que cumpla con las condiciones necesarias para satisfacer la necesidad de la población, proyectando ahora un hospital de nivel 1-III, de tal modo que aumente la calidad de atención cumpliendo con todos los requisitos norma- tivos e incorporando nuevas tendencias hospitalarias.

Since its founding in 1963, its services to the population have been increasing, making it a vitally important facility for the public health of the residents. Due to the 1970 earthquake, its structure was significantly damaged and deteriorated over the years. This, coupled with the hospital's lack of supplies due to in- creased population demand, means it lacks the basic conditions for proper operation. Therefore, a research project was conducted encompassing va- rious variables, resulting in a feasible project that meets the necessary con- ditions to meet the needs of the population.
