La investigación fue de tipo descriptivo correlacional, con un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño no experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 30 controladores de tránsito aéreo en ejercicio en Lima, seleccionados mediante un muestreo no probabilístico. Se aplicaron dos instrumentos: un cuestionario de evaluación del nivel de inglés operacional (Test of Aviation English) y otro de motivación adaptado al contexto profesional. Los resultados evidenciaron una correlación significativa entre el nivel de inglés operacional y la motivación laboral, destacando que los controladores con mayor competencia en inglés presentaron una mayor motivación. La conclusión más relevante fue que el dominio del inglés contribuyó positivamente al desempeño y motivación de los controladores de tránsito aéreo, sugiriendo la importancia de fortalecer programas de formación continua.
