description La presente investigación titulada, “el lenguaje y bienestar socioemocional en niños del nivel inicial” tiene por objetivo probar la relación existente entre el lenguaje y bienestar socioemocional en niños del nivel inicial, de ambos sexos, proveniente de Instituciones educativas estatales del distrito de San Antonio de Jicamarca – Huarochirí. Para esta investigación se utilizó una muestra de 115 niños y se utilizó el Test de Peabody (Dunn 1965) para medir el vocabulario comprensivo y el test de figura / palabra para medir el vocabulario expresivo de Gardner (1987) y el test de autorreporte del bienestar socioemocional (1997) que analizan vocabulario, bienestar socioemocional. Al término de esta investigación se pudo comprobar que existe una relación directa y significativa entre el lenguaje y bienestar socioemocional al obtener un valor de 0.342%; es decir que a mejor bienestar socioemocional mejor nivel de lenguaje.
