More than a year ago, Ecuador suffered a 7.8 Mw earthquake that was devastating, the automatic response was to run to the affected areas and rebuild. Meche’s House is an alternative: the crisis as an opportunity to experiment and consolidate popular construction systems based on an endogenous and holistic approach. This study evaluates two case studies and their contrasting methodologies in their process of selecting beneficiaries for post-disaster reconstruction: Casa Lista of Mutualista Pichincha and La Casa de Meche, differentiating both cases from analyzing their different approaches: the automatic one, non-reflective and product-based, the other analytical and process-based. This article addresses Colombian foreign policy in the context of the post-conflict period. First, it establishes the relationship between conflict and foreign policy during the governments of Andrés Pastrana (1998-2002) and Álvaro Uribe (2002-2010), and explains the turn that occurred with the arrival of Juan Manuel Santos to the presidency (2010- present), the peace talks with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). Second, it analyzes the global scenarios in which Colombia wants to deploy a more active, propositive and autonomous new international image in a post-conflict context. This document proposes how something as common and chaotic as existential crises can find transformation and change through drama therapy. This therapeutic tool facilitates emotional expression through drama (acting, play, dramaturgy, masks, among other elements of theatrical art) and generates powerful introspection processes in participants through their self-awareness, through provocative questions posed by the drama therapist. After the War of the Pacific, education became crucial in addressing the lack of patriotism and the perceived “indigenous inferiority”—factors that, according to intellectual critique of the time, had led to the defeat by Chile. This article aims to analyze how the Peruvian state restructured the educational system during the period of National Reconstruction. It explores the challenges and approaches of Peruvian schooling throughout the nineteenth century. By examining the development of educational institutions up to 1879, it seeks to understand the reconstruction process in the post-war years until the late nineteenth century. Analyzing education in these periods allows us to understand its role during the foundational moments of the Republic.

In order to evaluate the forms of interaction in the main Instagramers from Peru and Colombia, an exploratory analysis of their profiles was carried out on the Instagram audiovisual platform during 2019. For this reason, firstly, the Heepsy tool was used to establish the influencers with greater impact within the platform in both countries and then, through the monitoring tools Fan Page Karma and Social Blade, to determine a set of variables and parameters regarding their interaction. The results show that the audience index is higher for Instagramers from Colombia than for the ones from Peru. In the age of the Internet, anonymous online users can form a societal reaction by posting large quantities of critique and insulting comments against (perceived) norm violations on social media. These so-called online firestorms, or Enjō in Japanese, tend to include aggressive behavior against the target. This research aims to reveal the dynamics of Enjō and explores how people communicate with each other in the formation process of Enjō by conducting a comparative case study. This essay is a reflection on the role of communication technologies in theater during the post-pandemic period, and on the commitments that must be re-assumed as artists, teachers and students of performing arts in the Peruvian context. Taking the premise that theater requires the physical presence of actors and spectators to exist and, in turn, that the intervention of digital media is an unstoppable constant in the social evolution, we conclude on the need to involve technologies and the Internet as part of the process of poetic-scenic construction, as well as the importance of redoubling the effort to generate spaces for the physical encounter between artists and spectators.
