This article allows us to show in a descriptive and analytical, based on scientific evidence of a social, psychological and clinical, those impact caused by the excess or abuse of digital technology through the use of cell phones or smartphones, tablets with access to the Internet, the, which bring as consequences to the child who uses it, metabolic repercussions such as obesity, functional repercussions such as visual fatigue, dizziness, anxiety or drowsiness; as well as psychological alterations in which the reactions of irritability predominate, behavior problems (tantrums, aggressiveness, little tolerance for frustration), insomnia, greater tendency to depression and even suicides (in the adolescent age). The article aims to demonstrate the impact of neuroscience as an instructional strategy on student learning. This was an experimental research with a pre-experimental design that used a sample of 60 students on the Mathematics 1.0 course of the first cycle of the Continental University in the Academic period II - 2021. Significant contrasts were found between the results obtained before and after the application of the designed instructional guide, since the T value obtained is related with a significance level lower than 0.01, confirming the research hypothesis. Unfortunately, if the young person does not manage to overcome this test, the problems that this stage brings will overcome him, binding himself in situations that hewill simply be unable to face. Therefore, universities must find pedagogical tools that not only see the academic development of their students, but also the adoption of coping skills that allow them to improve as people. This article seeks to present an approach to mentoringas a possible accompaniment tool that can indirectly reduce the dropout rate by improving the learning experience of university students.

Objective: This article aims to show the impact of Burnout Syndrome on the work performance of health sciences teachers. Materials and Methods: For this purpose, a search of original articles, review articles, theses, and systematic reviews published from 2017 to 2022 was conducted in the databases: Pubmed/MEDLINE, Scopus, SciELO, and Google Scholar. Results: According to the results obtained, it is concluded that medical and dental teachers do have a high tendency to suffer burnout, which affects their final performance with the student, having negative consequences in the teaching-learning process. The aim of the present study was to examine the relationship between students’ cognitive and self-regulatory strategies, academic engagement, and academic achievement in higher education, analyzing the mediating role of reading comprehension. Different tasks to assess the constructs were administered to 209 students (Mage = 21.71; SD = 4.36). The students' GPA was used as a measure of academic achievement. Significant associations were found between cognitive and self-regulation strategies, academic engagement, reading comprehension, and students' GPA. In addition, a positive association was found between cognitive and self-regulation strategies and academic engagement.
