The present investigation has allowed us to meditate on the importance of the Correlation of the Moral Formation and Environmental Education in the integral development of the students, making possible its development, its fullness and its happiness. The environmental education cannot understand it if it is not in a parallel and simultaneous way with that that traditionally know as moral formation. Difficultly an educating will take care of the environment if he/she doesn't take care to itself, difficultly it will respect the environment but it is respected itself and the other ones. The present research work aims to determine the psychometric properties of the Rosenberg self-esteem scale; It is instrumental, involving a sample with 115 higher education students from Tacna between 18 to 55 years old. Item analysis, exploratory analysis, confirmatory analysis, bifactor, parallel analysis, reliability were performed and percentiles were determined. The results indicate that items 6 and 8 are not adequate for the negative dimension and this same dimension is not adequate according to the total variance explained; In the confirmatory analysis, the GFI adjustment index was not optimal, the parallel analysis using the least squares method recommends two dimensions and explains 59% of the explained variance, it was analyzed according to the adjustment indices for a bifactor that cannot be a one-dimensional scale.

La precariedad, en la historia urbana de nuestra ciudad, ha estado ligada a una gran falta de recursos que llevó a sus habitantes a vivir en lugares inadecuados y en contextos de pobreza y desorden. It analyzed the relation between reading comprehension and academic performance on students of fifth grade from a police educational institution of Callao. Not experimental type of studying and descriptive correlational design. To the sample of 140 male and female students were applied Reading Comprehension Test of Linguistic Complexity Progressive (LCP) of parallel forms, A Form Level 5 of Allende, Condemarín and Milicic (1991) adapted by Delgado (2005) to know reading comprehension levels and for academic performance it used the Official Record and Final Assessment Act.
