The report addresses the management of parallel processes and synchronization in concurrent systems, highlighting common problems in accessing shared resources that affect efficiency and stability. It also highlights the need to optimize the management of large volumes of data and improve academic cooperation to develop advanced solutions.The objective of the study is to identify and analyze synchronization strategies that optimize parallel processes, evaluating their effectiveness in different scenarios and offering recommendations based on recent literature. Introduction: Overweight negatively impacts the cardiovascular system and osteomyoarticular, promoting pain in the joints of the lower limbs. Therefore, strategies have been applied to reduce overweight through lifestyle changes. Objective: to investigate the effects of two multidisciplinary intervention programs on the health-related physical fitness of obese women with pain symptoms in the knees. Methods: Women between 40 and 59 years of age with obesity (n=59) were evaluated in the pre- and post-intervention time regarding anthropometry, body composition, physical fitness, level of disability in the knee and hip, and health-related quality of life. A significant number of projects specifically oriented to the promotion of rural women are currently being developed throughout the country. Parallel to the programs implemented by the public sector (CIPA, Ministry of Labor and Social Promotion), non-governmental organizations have designed localized coverage actions aimed at serving this sector of the population. Various events in recent years have brought together the promoters involved in these actions and through discussions and workshops a common problem has begun to be configured for this type of action. Our intention here is to evoke some of the converging problems detected and outline some guidelines that allow us to fine-tune the approaches of the projects and optimize the impact of the actions.

The mental health of college students has been the source of research, projects, and public policies involving education, health, and psychology professionals. Having as its axis the study of mental health and the phenomenon of psychological illness, this systematic review aims to characterize mental health programs directed to college students, as well as the forms of interventions offered to reduce the incidence of psychological disorders. The work analyzes the contributions of Mercedes Rodrigo Bellido and Victoria Bossio Herrera, pioneers of psychology in Colombia, highlighting their impact from complementary approaches. Rodrigo, born in Spain, introduced psychotechnics and founded the first university psychology program in the country, consolidating the discipline as autonomous and applied to vocational guidance and child well-being. Bossio, Colombian and the country's first doctor in psychology, focused her work on psychopedagogy, promoting education for children with high abilities and learning difficulties, in addition to addressing problems such as child abandonment. El presente estudio tiene como propósito analizar la evolución de la situación de la mujer de la región de Puno, desde el año 1990 al 2010; así como estudiar las perspectivas para su desarrollo futuro, con el objetivo de proponer políticas específicas para mejorar su calidad de vida. La investigación tiene un alcance descriptivo y utiliza un enfoque cualitativo para comprender las expectativas y obstáculos que tienen las mujeres para su desarrollo; para lo cual se utilizó la estrategia de casos de estudio múltiples bajo un diseño holístico.
