The report addresses the management of parallel processes and synchronization in concurrent systems, highlighting common problems in accessing shared resources that affect efficiency and stability. It also highlights the need to optimize the management of large volumes of data and improve academic cooperation to develop advanced solutions.The objective of the study is to identify and analyze synchronization strategies that optimize parallel processes, evaluating their effectiveness in different scenarios and offering recommendations based on recent literature. Nowadays, some of the most popular tools for parallel programming are Message Passing Interface and Open Multi-Processing. It is of interest to compare these tools in solving the same kind of problems, because of the use of different approaches to inter-task communication. This work attempts to contribute to this goal by running trials in a centralized shared memory architecture in the case of problems with an entirely parallel solution. The selected case study was the parallel computation of Mandelbrot set. Trials were conducted for different iteration limits, processors amount, and C++ implementation variants. The results show better performance in the case of Open Multi-Processing.

The solution of Laplace's equation within a Classical Electrodynamics course is fundamental for the understanding of boundary problems in Electrostatics. In the present research work the analytical and numerical solution is obtained by the relaxation method, of a problem of infinite parallel plates, of the Laplace equation in Cartesian coordinates in an Euclidean space of two dimensions, specifically using the Python programming language, for its use in the teaching of Physics and its better phenomenological understanding. Likewise, the solutions obtained by both solution techniques are compared and discussed.

However, the main limitation of MPC is the computational e ort required for the online solution of an optimization problem. A significant number of projects specifically oriented to the promotion of rural women are currently being developed throughout the country. Parallel to the programs implemented by the public sector (CIPA, Ministry of Labor and Social Promotion), non-governmental organizations have designed localized coverage actions aimed at serving this sector of the population. Various events in recent years have brought together the promoters involved in these actions and through discussions and workshops a common problem has begun to be configured for this type of action. Our intention here is to evoke some of the converging problems detected and outline some guidelines that allow us to fine-tune the approaches of the projects and optimize the impact of the actions.

An assessment of part of a family planning program is presented in a social environment characterized by high fertility, low contraceptive use and knowledge and great interest in information and practice of family planning methods. Accidental pregnancy rates and subsequent expulsions are similar to those found in urban environments and sea level. The work analyzes the contributions of Mercedes Rodrigo Bellido and Victoria Bossio Herrera, pioneers of psychology in Colombia, highlighting their impact from complementary approaches. Rodrigo, born in Spain, introduced psychotechnics and founded the first university psychology program in the country, consolidating the discipline as autonomous and applied to vocational guidance and child well-being. Bossio, Colombian and the country's first doctor in psychology, focused her work on psychopedagogy, promoting education for children with high abilities and learning difficulties, in addition to addressing problems such as child abandonment. En esta tesis construiremos un algoritmo de descomposición asociado a un problema de optimización convexa separable con restricciones lineales, en particular lo aplicaremos a problemas de programación lineal. Este algoritmo aprovecha la estructura separable de la función objetivo del problema original considerando en cada iteración subproblemas de optimización para cada componente de la función objetivo, siendo estas de menor tamaño que el problema original e independientes entre sí, lo cual permite resolverlos de forma paralela, disminuyendo el costo computacional.

La investigación trata el tema de la programación de máquinas en paralelo, conocido como Parallel Machine Scheduling (PMS). Se enfoca en el problema de la programación a gran escala, donde el número de trabajos es muy grande y mucho mayor que el número de recursos. La solución consiste en asignar y secuenciar los trabajos en los recursos, de modo tal, que se logren terminar a tiempo o con el menor atraso posible. PMS es un problema clásico, tanto de la ingeniería industrial por su relación con la optimización de recursos, y de la matemática computacional de análisis combinatorio. El presente trabajo titulado “Propuesta de mejora del proceso frente al bajo índice de inserción laboral de los jóvenes capacitados por el Programa Jóvenes Productivos en el departamento de Lima” se ha desarrollado con la finalidad de proponer un prototipo de innovación para mejorar la inserción laboral de los jóvenes capacitados. Para llevar a cabo la investigación, se realizaron entrevistas a exfuncionarios, actuales funcionarios y colaboradores del mencionado programa.
