Para el presente trabajo de investigación se utilizó herramientas computacionales aplicadas y el desarrollo experimental de tres sistemas medidores de conductividad térmica: LAMBDA-UNI, Portátil LAMBDA-UNI y Portátil LAMBDA-CERTES. La cronología de las actividades no ha sido la óptima pero las idas y vueltas entre modelización y experimentos ha permitido mejorar nuestros conocimientos metodológicos y prácticos. La lógica de ese trabajo fue de encontrar, dentro de los límites establecidos por las normas, cuáles son los parámetros óptimos de diseño que reducen al mínimo los errores de evaluación de la conductividad térmica de una muestra de material. In areas with a humid tropical Colombian climate, the control of temperature and relative humidity is essential to achieve thermal comfort inside the houses, the temperature and relative humidity must be controlled by bioclimatic strategies that include the materiality of the facades used. In this context there are still areas of the humid Colombian tropics that preserve ancestral customs to build their homes adapted to these thermal conditions. RESUMEN La presente tesis aborda la temática del confort térmico en la vivienda en la ciudad de Rioja en el valle del Alto Mayo en donde la demanda de vivienda para los próximos años y el aumento paulatino y constante de la temperatura son un escenario de aplicación directa para los resultados de esta investigación a partir de una propuesta con bambú como material autóctono.
