This work try to show that cognitive processes about social reality are found influenced by different flows of ideas, which once they established as knowledge perspectives, they are constituted in paradigms of interpretations that through language are expressed in systems of beliefs that define to those who support it: world’s nature, place of the individual on it, possible relationship facing that world and the relationship among individuals itself.

Postmodernity has crossed the boundaries of art and philosophy very quickly, and by challenging the philosophical foundations of the social sciences, it has a great influence on mastering the theorizing of these fields. Consequently, the science of policymaking in general, and theories of policymaking in particular, have not remained immune to postmodern doctrines. Having said this, the objective of this essay is the analysis and examination of the models of explanation of the policy formulation process based on an approach of the postmodern paradigm. To this end, the issues of rationality in postmodernism, rationality in policymaking, and approaches that follow various types of rationality are discussed. The main models for explaining the policy-making process that have drawn much attention from thinkers are outlined. Studies suggest that notions such as objectivity criticism, escaping ...

New paradigms fruits of the constant changes, mechanistic insights to complex views are aspects that have enabled the evolution and development of the accounting profession, understood as a stage in which the task and function of a public accountant should be creative, innovative and strategic results for the growth of organizations through competitive management, and their task in the development of social responsibility. In today's society it is satisfied that the world is changing rapidly and today the market demands a process of transformation in all aspects is why in this article aims to highlight the importance and the need for a paradigm shift of the accounting profession, the latter being as innovative practitioner role so that it contributes to the effectiveness of socio-economic management.

The following article analyses the progressive process of deregulation of labour and social relations through the withdrawal of the State and public authorities, as well as public administration, control and direction of the relations of this type, both individual and collective. The comparison is made between the Spanish and Peruvian model, but especially between the regulation of the European Union and several Latin American countries. Stands in the article between “public” intervention – regulation legislative or Government– of “administrative” intervention, control by the administration of the employment relationship, especially in this case through the labour inspection bodies.

The present investigation approaches two divergent tendencies that contribute inthe construction of the geography, the quantitative geography and the radicalgeography. The first one approaches the analysis of the geographical processes fromthe numeric perspective, based on the mathematics, statistic and computer science. The second tendency has a mainly social focus and it prioritizes the studies of thesocial and space inequality. However, recent studies demonstrate that it exists, betweenboth, a theoretical-methodological complement. The radical geography prioritizesthe conceptual construction and the quantitative geography the construction ofmethodologies. For it, the present study approaches the hybrid one, of theory andmethodology, resultants of the convergence of these two tendencies, the generationin new ways of analysis of the social processes and the re-definition and reconstructi...

The standard interpretation of Harrod' s economics dynamics heavily dependent on the so-called "Harrod-Domar" model of economics growth is misleading for an accurate assessment of Harrod' s model. In arder to do that this articles explores the connection between Harrod 's economics dynamics and Keynes' work by showing how sorne key analytical tools and the "vision", in a schumpeterian sense, for the formulation of an economics dynamics in Harrod are based on, or developed from, Keynes's General Theory and his criticism to the "classical economics".   Keynes' influence is observed in the general structure of the model and on the mechanisms under which is analyzed the long-term economic growth. It is intended to show those key elements that make evident that and the degree of their importance in the mathematical structure of the model and in the extent of Harrod's conclusions. With that a...

The essay shown below deals with a very general topic such as didactics in Higher Education. Its fundamental objective is aimed at analyzing its didactic principles and some elements of the university's teaching-learning process with the new paradigms that are being imposed on a global level, which in turn rely on various sources of notable theorists that have evolved as makes society. The method rested on the review and analysis of different theoretical sources of a documentary nature and their relationship with the subject, which at the same time appear in the references. In it, no rigid schemes have been drawn nor formulas are provided when dealing with specifically qualitative elements, however, some suggestions are offered that directly link the so-called Knowledge Society with the necessary didactic changes that require active ways so that the student becomes an actor and creator o...

Traditionally, the urban informal sector (UIS) has either not been taken into account in the design and application of economic policy or has been so erroneously, even though its presence modifies the evolution of the macroeconomic and distributive variables to a considerable extent. This fact, which arises in no small measure from the insufficiencies and inconsistencies of the conventional paradigm, explains in part in the achievement of its targets during the last years in Latin America. It is then necessary to analyze in detail the short run economic role of the UIS. When the author defines the latter as a sector of economy, on account of its peculiar economic rationality and of the existence of various and complex supply and demands mechanisms through which it relates to the rest of the economy, he lays down the foundations of a new theoretical point of view on the UIS, which, on the...

Bunge (1997) argues that a good scientific explanation should detail the mechanisms that lead from causes to effects. In recent decades, this type of explanation has been incorporated into the dominant paradigms in sociology and political science, where it has achieved both theoretical and methodological advances, above all through the process tracing technique. In contrast, in communication there continues to be an almost exclusive dominance of theories and research using interpretive or variance methods. This paper argues that advances in the mechanism paradigm in other disciplines can be exploited by researchers in the field of communication who wish to study both classical issues in the discipline and social processes in which communication is involved as a relevant causal factor. The main definitions of the paradigm and the most important recommendations of the process tracing metho...

The research proposes a three-dimensional psychosocial and cultural model to develop creativity in primary educa-tion. The benefits of boosting creativity in children between six and twelve years old were the starting point. On the other hand it aims to re-address the training process that teachers carry out in different areas. It interacted from the empirical-analytical paradigm with the intention to demonstrate the problem diagnosed in children from the multiple intelligences approach, and to justify the proposal to teachers. The research method was the propositive approach. Due to the fact it had a three-dimensional psychosocial and cultural model it counted with four measured dimensions: cognitive and metacognitive, affective-motivational, instrumental- knowledge and specific skills and the development dimension, which includes sociocultural and historical integration. Creativity was...

The purpose of the present article is to make a critical analysis to the dominant classic epidemiological positionthat explains health-disease duality from genetics and lifestyles. It talks about how political, economic, cultural, environmental and demographic structure are strongly influenced by the social determinant of health, related tosanitary inequities, which may pose barriers to the adoption of healthy lifestyles, especially to people in extremepoverty, armed conflict, disasters and other hard conditions, which are prevailing circumstances in low andmiddle income countries. It discusses the need to transcend the paradigm of health education which is highlyprescriptive and does not offer the expected results. The research is documentary, and was based on a journalisticliterature review. It concludes that it is necessary to transcend into a holistic paradigm to explain the healthdis...

This research emerges impregnated with a deep halo of complexity, which seeks to rethink the work of educational organizations in times of crisis under a hegemonic vision of education and of life itself. It starts from a conception of education as a training activity, permanent, with meaning, transcendental to the current situation of being, according to Balza (2008), an education "that permeates and models the multidimensionality of the human being", therefore that this is conceived in an integral way, as a whole that is nourished by the concurrence and contributions of the sociocultural and socio-pluricultural disciplines, therefore, transdisciplinarity, according to Nicolescu (1996), is to understand the unreality of reality from the unity of knowledge. However, the inter-problematic most felt in this context is directly associated with the teacher as a manager of processes, to mediat...

The purpose of this article is to explain the influence of emerging scientific paradigms on the teaching of geography in everyday school work. Currently, given the complex environmental reality, the educational work of school geography should be developed with a human and social sense. Therefore, there is an interest in updating the educational processes of positivist pedagogical practice, as it transmits neutral geographic content without practical application. In this regard, the use of the epistemic foundations of constructivism and critical theory is recommended, as they enable the elaboration of knowledge through research. This situation led to the completion of a bibliographic review, whose references facilitated the analysis of the historical situation, positive science in the teaching of geography, and qualitative research in geographic teaching. In these reflections, positivism ...
