We propose to consider different aspects that also result important ones in human beings for a good process of teaching - learning. Actually, the new discipline called neuroeducation are nurturing us of a lot of contents which help to all teachers to comprehend these processes and regard on several situations of one person. We do not focus on education only in school even without contents which are proposed in class. Now, we must expand our vision in relation to the student, the social and familiar environment. What and how others factors are really involved with the student since our position as teachers, however, we are responsible and engaged to provide an integral and transversal education, that generate as an outcome: individuals of integrity, independence, intelligence, and with a high ability of solving problems.

In the age of the Internet, anonymous online users can form a societal reaction by posting large quantities of critique and insulting comments against (perceived) norm violations on social media. These so-called online firestorms, or Enjō in Japanese, tend to include aggressive behavior against the target. This research aims to reveal the dynamics of Enjō and explores how people communicate with each other in the formation process of Enjō by conducting a comparative case study. This study collects tweets posted in five Enjō cases and compares each case to create conceptual categories of the communication process of Enjō. Results show that the participants of Enjō interact with each other to define the problem of concern through exchange of information. Moreover, it is revealed that there are two types of process in the escalation of Enjō, “social problematization” and “villa...

Participatory architecture has become increasingly present both in the discourse and in the architectural practice of the last two decades. It is important to question to what extent participation is real, and if the complete practice of it, as a free exercise of citizenship within the design processes, does not contradict the practices of architecture. Through theoretical reflection resulting from the observation of examples, risks and lessons of participatory processes are proposed, both for teaching and for the practice of architecture in the contemporary context.

This paper develops the legal figure of duplicity of registry entries in the Land Registry or also known as overlapping of properties. Duplicity of registry entries generates a problem whose solution may ultimately require a judicial process to solve the problem of duplicity of registry entries. It is highly probable that the duplicity of registry entries limits the legal traffic of the properties and in most cases limits the transfer agreements of the properties by punishing the sale price, by agreeing obligations under the seller´s liability or  termination clauses. Even the duplicity of registry entries may be decisive to decide not to go ahead with the transfer agreement. That is why, in this article we will describe which are the solution mechanisms (private, administrative, or judicial) that the owner must elimina...

Hazardous wastes include those materials due to their corrosive, reactive, explosive, toxic, flammable or biohazard characteristics, pose a risk to human health and the environment when handled improperly. The type of treatment depends on the characteristics of the waste. The most commonly used treatments are physical, chemical. biological and thermal. Treatment processes also generate waste, which must be deposited in a special landfill or security deposit.

Gamification is a process that has been the subject of debate in the 21st century. A particularly delicate topic is the erroneous concepts related to ludic, games, and gamification. Despite having a single “gen”, it is possible to separate them, mainly thinking about the objectives and their application in education, for example. Considering that, this essay seeks to clarify the conceptual limits of gamification and its relation with the ludic and the game, exploring concepts and approaches. In this way, we expect to contribute to combating the dubious vision of gamification. Thus, without relegating other investigations, we assure that the objective of the ludic is to entertain (play), the game is to compete and the gamification is to involve through a process that uses game elements other than in games.

In this article, the visions and perceptions of national identity held by girls and boys residing in the border region of Tacna and Arica were explored. Therefore, a portion of the results obtained in the doctoral research thesis "Drawing the Border: Tacna and Arica from the perspective of boys and girls," presented in 2021 at the Department of Latin American Studies at the University of Brasilia, is presented. The purpose of this work was to understand and analyze how boys and girls conceived, experienced, and assimilated their national identity. To achieve this, specific questions were formulated, such as "What does it mean to you to be Peruvian?" and "What does it mean to you to be Chilean?" addressed to 27 students aged 10 to 12 from the Carlos Armando Laura School in Tacna (Peru) and 7 students of the same age group from various schools in the city of Arica (Chile). This study was p...

Innovation in education in general and innovation in engineering education in particular must be supported by properly collected and analyzed data to guide decisionmaking processes. Today it is possible to collect data from many more stakeholders (not just students), and also to collect much more data from each stakeholder. Nevertheless, low-level data collected by monitoring the interactions of the multiple stakeholders with learning platforms and other computing systems must be transformed into meaningful high-level indicators and visualizations that guide decision-making processes. The aim of this paper is to discuss some notable trends in data-driven innovation in engineering education, including 1) improvement of educational content; 2) improvement of learners’ social interactions; 3) improvement of learners’ self-regulated learning skills; and 4) prediction of learners’ behav...

The purpose of this article is to systematize and critically analyze academic literature on the dynamics of entry and approval of bills in legislative bodies. So far, research has identified several variables that influence legislative productivity, including institutional, political-electoral, attitudinal factors and those intrinsic to the characteristics of the legislation itself. In this sense, we propose a theoretical review that seeks to answer the question: what are the factors that explain legislative productivity? To this end, legislative productivity is defined as the relationship between the number of bills presented and those that manage to be approved within the legislative process. From this analysis, it is argued that literature has privileged the study of institutional and political-electoral factors, relegating the exploration of endogenous variables to the law, which rep...
