En el presente estudio analizó los componentes bienestar psicológico, el estrés académico y el estilo de vida. El objetivo general fue determinar la relación entre el bienestar psicológico, estrés académico y el estilo de vida de los estudiantes de la Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. El tipo de investigación fue descriptiva. El método y diseño fue no experimental, correlacional y transversal. La población constituida por 754 universitarios, la muestra 254 muestreo probabilístico. Los instrumentos utilizados para la medición de las variables tuvieron validación de constructo y jueces expertos 6 evaluadores Doctores en Salud. La confiabilidad de los instrumentos se obtuvo con el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach >0.80, a 615 universitarios. La prueba estadística fue Rho de Spearman, el margen de error de 0.05

The present study aims to analyze the association between academic stress and psychological well-being, and the role of academic procrastination in this relationship, in a sample of undergraduate students. The sample was composed by 391 undergraduate students from various universities in Lima Metropolitana - Peru. The Spanish adaptation of Ryff’s Psychological Well-being Scales (SPWB), The Cognitive Systemic Inventory (SISCO SV-21) and the Academic Procrastination Scale (EPA). Results show that procrastination and academic stress are negatively related to psychological well being. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad determinar el nivel de Bienestar psicológico en las personas adultas mayores del Centro Adulto Mayor CAM de Chosica, para ello se realizó una investigación de tipo descriptiva y transversal, con un diseño no experimental. Se evaluó a un total de 38 participantes del Centro adulto mayor del distrito de Chosica, de ambos sexos. In this paper we approach the diversity of the mountaintop shrines surveyed and excavated by the author in Argentina, which is interpreted in relation to the social use, political purpose and symbolic meaning of the sacred geography in the strategies of legitimization of the Inca domination in the Andes.

La población estuvo conformada por 35 adultos mayores; la misma que se tomó de manera intacta como muestra por ser considerada pequeña. El instrumento utilizado para el recojo de la información fue la Escala FUMAT, aplicable a personas mayores (más de 50 años). This article examines different concepts of nation that range from the ethnic, modern, and utopian. It outlines the evolution of the meaning of the word nation from the Renaissance to the 21st century and distinguishes between the nation and the nation-state, the latter kidnapping the role formerly held by the former. To understand the concept during the Renaissance, Inca Garcilaso’s Royal Commentaries will offer background as will several period dictionaries. To understand the concept from the nineteenth century on, the article considers the theories of Benedict Anderson and Eric Hobsbawm, as well as Mario Vargas Llosa’s ideas on the topic. Some conclusions applicable to Peru will be drawn.

To supply a legal justification for the Spanish conquest of Tawantinsuyu, Toledo and his advisers set out to prove that the Incas met the definition of tyranny in Castilian law, as explained by Aristotle and codified in the Siete Partidas. Tyranny was defined by specific elements: state surveillance and control, a climate of fear, the destruction of civil society, social leveling, and a monopoly by the state over its subjects’ time, labor, and property. We report data from an experiment in Peru where subjects anonymously decide how much of their endowment they donate to the Peruvian government. The standard rational choice model and several well-known models of non-selfish preferences predict zero giving. Yet we observe that around 75% of the subjects give something (N = 164), with substantial heterogeneity. Further, individual donations depend negatively on (a) beliefs about corruption in Peru and positively on (b) level of support of the actual government and (c) beliefs about the average donation by other subjects. Our data is consistent with a theory based on consequentialist norms, which we develop in detail. This paper contributes to a recent literature on tax morale emphasizing the importance of non-standard motivations on tax compliance, and suggests that taxpayers are willing to give money to the government (e.g., paying taxes)...

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo general: Identificar el nivel de bienestar psicológico que presentan los estudiantes ingresantes a una facultad de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Para ello, se empleó un estudio no experimental con enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño descriptivo. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 85 estudiantes, de los cuales el 60% fueron mujeres y el 40 % varones seleccionados con un muestreo no estadístico de tipo intencional. El instrumento que se utilizó fue la escala de bienestar psicológico de Carol Ryff adaptación española (1995), la cual fue adaptada al medio peruano con 39 preguntas y 6 dimensiones con una escala de tipo Likert.

Este artículo examina diferentes conceptos de nación que van desde lo étnico, lo moderno, y lo utópico. Esboza la evolución del significado de la palabra nación desde el Renacimiento al siglo XXI y distingue entre la nación y el estado-nación que secuestra el papel de la primera. Para entender el concepto durante el Renacimiento se acude a los Comentarios reales del Inca Garcilaso, así como diversos diccionarios del período. Para entender el concepto a partir del siglo XIX, se acude a las teorías de Benedict Anderson y Eric Hobsbawm, y las ideas de Mario Vargas Llosa al respecto. Se ofrecerá algunas conclusiones aplicables al Perú.
