In this part II we intend to give an overview of the different ways in which the idea of integral has evolved over time; in particular the Riemann integral has been the motivation for further research up to the present. We only want to motivate this part of the history of mathematical analysis in our environment with the aim that student and teachers have a guide for more detailed studies and thus contribute to the development of matematics in our region.

En la actualidad, la restauración de imágenes submarinas sigue siendo un tópico complejo en el ámbito de la imagenología óptica subacuática. Esto se debe a que los efectos atmosféricos y de reflectividad producidos por la escena suelen generar una degradación significativa a la fotografía y limitar el rango capturado debido a la borrosidad producida en el ambiente. Con la finalidad de solucionar este problema, la siguiente tesis implementa un algoritmo de retrodispersión que busca eliminar el efecto de degradación generado por el agua. Twelve years after the resurgence of the left in Latin America, we are now witnessing its dawn and the emergence of the right. In the present article, the author asks if this situation responds to a situational crisis of the progressive governments of Latin America or, if in reality, we are witnessing the failure of these alternative projects that only produced cosmetic changes. The author analyzes the failed attempt to create new rules in the international system, national politics and the regional construction by the progressive governments, because of the use of outdated means —based on schemes and concepts of the Cold War— in a different global context. The article begins with a general exposition of the progressive proposals to later analyze the cases of Brazil and Venezuela, ending with conclusions of the main hypothesis.

Digital Image Processing (DIP) books teach algorithms to digitally operate on images and include some figures to show the effects of those mathematical tools. In this report the creation of Imagery, a Virtual Laboratory for computer-assisted education (teaching and learning) of DIP is reported. Imagery can be used in the classroom, in the laboratory or at home. This software was developed to be used as a DIP laboratory, allowing the user to experiment with DIP algorithms, enabling him to see their effects on his own images. This article provides a critical view of the evolution of law teaching in a context such as globalisation. To that extent, the author mentions how the reform of teaching at the Faculty of Law of the PUCP was initiated. From this, it was expected that the reform in legal education should be able to respond to social demands and contribute to the correct training of students, as well as provide the necessary resources to implement new legal specialisations in the light of the Peruvian social reality. While it is true that there is not only one indigenous vision of Christ, this essay argues that it is possible to discern features of a characteristically indigenous Christology in the midst of the existing plurality. Based on Christological references taken from interviews, prayers and myths collected by anthropologists in the Andean and Amazonian areas, I have developed an interpretive model. This model can serve as a background for the study of emerging varieties of indigenous Christianity.

La clasificación de objetos es uno de los campos de estudios más importantes de los últimos años y está asociado a la similitud de características entre los objetos y al continuo crecimiento de los conjuntos de datos de entrenamiento. En base a ello, aumentar el número de muestras de entrenamiento mejora el rendimiento de los clasificadores. Sin embargo, no hay estudios que determinen un estimado de cuántas muestras de entrenamiento son necesarias para generar clasificadores robustos. En esta investigación se intenta responder esta pregunta, enfocando el problema en la clasificación por marca y modelo vehicular. This article deals with the narrative segment in Miguel Gutiérrez novel, The violence of time, about how it organizes narrative discourse; how, through it, meaning and meaning flow freely in the succession of the chapters, each organized in two parts. It is a structuralist vision that validates the organization of the discourse: the story that the story tells in the novel. We do not pay attention to the structure, but to the evolution of the story, narrative segment after narrative segment. We call this content unit thus, narrative segment, to emphasize that it is an entity of measurable nature, as an expression of content, despite being only substance, not form.

El cansancio en los conductores de vehículos, que muchas veces se manifiesta en somnolencia, es la causa de muchos accidentes. En algunos países el índice de accidentes ocasionados por esta causa alcanza hasta un 35%. En el presente trabajo se presenta un sistema de visión artificial capaz de detectar el estado de somnolencia. El proceso consiste en la obtención de imágenes a través de una cámara de video; estas imágenes son procesadas mediante un algoritmo que se ofrece en este trabajo; como resultado se tiene una respuesta por parte del sistema que indica si el conductor tiene los ojos cerrados o abiertos. Para lograr los objetivos de este trabajo se ha empleado principalmente el Software Matlab, la herramienta de modelado UML y la metodología RUP
