This article aims to identify the way in which the Netflix platform demonstrates the concept of television flow in its catalog, based on the analysis of the original content of fiction series released in 2019. It also recognizes some programming strategies and techniques that implements this video streaming platform, considering the implications of big data and recommendation systems. The methodology contemplates qualitative and quantitative techniques and applies an analysis matrix based on a manual coding of 157 original fiction series, with variables such as launch date, origin of production, season number, chapters and total minutes released per season. This paper shows the results of the use of television fiction for Comprehensive Sexuality Education in times of confinement. A post-test adapting the "Questionnaire for the evaluation of Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices related to sexual activity, HIV, VTP and GBV" was applied to 80 adolescents (15-17 years old), 41 had watched on YouTube 20 chapters of the fiction series on sexual and reproductive human rights and sexual and reproductive health "Revela2" and 39 constituted the control group. The way of telling stories in the audiovisual field has been transformed in recent years. The objective of this work is to explore whether the Black Mirror series respects the same conventions and narrative schemes that belong to the structure of the three acts. Likewise, analyze what is the percentage of time that is dedicated to each of the three acts in this audiovisual product. In order to resolve these questions, a narrative analysis tool has been designed that represents a valuable instrument for future research related to this.

When a debate revolves around the digital transition of Latin America, it is a mayor challenge to establish a real period of time for its solidification. This emptiness and far away feeling isn’t different when boarding the subject in the Venezuelan reality, since there are almost no strategies for the development of a digital development in a communications oriented field, especially in the audiovisual field, were external factors can be considered in the same manner as the uniqueness and challenges of the country in this process, witch will clearly show how our countries works, waiting for the last moment to confront an even more tangible reality and with an even more variety of challenges that must be taken with seriousness and a glocal perspective.

This paper contributes to the reflection on the process of transition from analog television to digital television which is to be broadcasted in Peru and considers that digital television offers a better sound and image quality and less interference. The process of technological migration may take 1 O years. Peru has already opted for rhe Japanese standard HDTV, which among orher advanrages offers portable and mobile reception. This article analyzes the experience of Hora Libre (Free Time), a television program hosted by boys, girls and young people on Argentine community TV channels between 2017 and 2018, as part of a series of public policies that promote exercising the right to communication. The topic will be approached from a critical perspective of educommunication, cultural studies, popular education theories and studies on communication policies in Argentina. In this way, a first systematization of the proposal will be carried out based on the analysis of the political-communication context, the intervening actors, the communication practices and the institutional logics which became evident in the project. Finally, this work is proposed as a space for reflection to act in future instances that bind the fields of communication and education in pursuit of strengthening democratic communication policies.

This article studies the content of the information on childhood and adolescence broadcast daily in the main television newscasts in Chile during prime time. It starts from the assumption that the news discourse is one of the central axes of its sociocultural construction, by putting into circulation different representations and imaginaries about these groups through the media. To determine the news topics about childhood and adolescence, the presence of stereotypes and the preferential informative treatment of television channels, we conducted a quantitative analysis between March and June 2020, finding 109 videos. The present text collects a study of the opening of Isabel, Víctor Ros and El Ministerio del tiempo, created by Javier Olivares. A research developed from four main points of work, analysis of formal, narrative, typographic and sound aspects. Este trabajo presenta el diseño e implementación de un sistema de monitoreo de canales de televisión OTT para una importante empresa de telecomunicaciones. Este sistema monitoriza el estado de los canales mediante la evaluación de la disponibilidad de los recursos de video generados por la plataforma de video, con el objetivo de reducir la necesidad de tener personal dedicado a revisar el estado de los canales ofrecidos y de alertar de manera rápida al área de monitoreo cuando se produzca una avería.
