Loneliness is an affective state characterized by a subjective experience that is accompanied by a negative evaluation of social networks, in terms of the quantity and quality of social ties. In the Argentinean scientific literature, this issue is usually approached from a quantitative point of view, and no studies were found that sought to understand the subjective aspects of this experience in children. Therefore, this study aims to describe loneliness from the perspective of children aged 8 to 12 in the city of Posadas and to analyze childhood loneliness from the the multidimensional model of Hymel et al. (1999) to assess its suitability. A qualitative and descriptive study was carried out. The sample consisted of 34 children aged between 8 and 12 years. With the consent of the children’s parents, semi-structured interviews consisting of four questions about loneliness were conducte...

Introduction: The implementation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) requires the adoption of Active Learning Methods (ALMs) to promote meaningful and reflective learning. This is particularly beneficial in nursing education, as it enhances students’ clinical preparation. It also demands pedagogical renewal and thoughtful reflection on methodological changes from the teaching perspective. Objective: To describe the key aspects that nursing educators consider important for implementing ALMs in their teaching. Method: A qualitative study with a hermeneutic phenomenological design was conducted, involving 10 semi-structured interviews with nursing degree instructors at the University of Granada (Spain). Results: The main theme was “Adaptation to active learning methods in nursing,” with subthemes including training experiences, use of lectures, meanings and integration of ALM...

This article advances in explaining the productive use of vuestro in Cusco Spanish (Peru), based on new fieldwork data. We highlight its plural meaning and its systematic integration into the paradigm of ustedes. We analyze its discursive value for contrasting groups with each other and its social indexicality as a marker of literacy. Finally, we outline three proposals on the aspects still to be studied: (1) the diatopic diffusion of PL vuestro in other parts of the Andean region (and outside the Andes); (2) its diachronic evolution (as a result of the hybridization of the paradigms of vosotros and ustedes); and (3) the indirect effect of language contact (the contrastive use of vuestro as a compensation strategy for regionally relevant communicative categories, grammaticalized in Southern Quechua).

In this paper we focus on the archaeological study of the, pre-Tawantinsuyo, Tarama and Guanca culture, analyzing its agricultural development in relation to the natural resources that offered the Central Andes and identifying their own particular cultural characteristics. For this purpose we conducted a series of archaeological surveys of the current territory of Junin, which was occupied by the Guancas and Taramas, and we also conducted archaeological excavations at the Guanca site of Anjushmarca. All the archaeological evidence we recorded during our research helped us better understand the development and production of Guancas and Taramas, which led us to undertake new theories on agriculture and livestock development in relation to the central Andes providing an approach closer to the Andean reality. Furthermore, in this article, we mentioned some criticisms and observations to the ...

At the beginning of 2019, I received a cordial invitation from the Allpanchis editorial team to coordinate a dossier dedicated to the study of the American clergy. In defining this academic exercise, I determined that it was vital to make visible the ecclesiastical agents and their sociopolitical intermediaries, as well as the historical roles they fulfilled at different times in American history. To achieve this goal, it was vital not only to limit ourselves to a specific spatiality or temporality —the viceroyalty—, but also to consider the articulation of historical periods based on clerical agency. This is how the dossier that I have the honor to present exhibits research on the study of the American clergy in a long-term perspective that goes from the 16th century to the dawn of the 20th century, and that demonstrates the agency, accommodation, mediation , the links and the leadi...

Introduction: To design a postgraduate study plan is an relevant task for what is expected in the future about the training of its students. To implement it and to adapt it to the different demands that are manifested over time are major words. Objective: is to describe the synchronic and diachronic elements underlying the postgraduate program in Special Education at the FESZ since 1987 to date. It shows the evolution of the postgraduate course over time, the theoretical bases that support it, the situation teachers and students regarding graduation, no graduation and occupational level. Discussion: The dynamism from its implementation is recognized, the relationship that it has kept with various factors in which it has been immersed, both the administrative and academic of the institution as well as other external ones: political, economic, and scientific. The aim of this study is to demonstrate that significant differences emerge when comparing the evaluation of teachers’ competences from the perspective of the students of the four specialized master’s programs at CENTRUM PUCP, Lima. The applied research was of a non-experimental design, employing comparative description and hypothetical-deductive and quantitative methods. The sample was composed of 143 students from four specialized master’s programs, chosen at random. The information was gathered through a survey, by means of a questionnaire containing 30 items associated with teacher competences. Using the Kruskal-Wallis Test, a meaningful inference was obtained (p-value <0.01) statistically demonstrating the general hypothesis. It can therefore be concluded that significant differences arise when comparing the evaluation of teachers’ competences from the perspective of the ...

The main objective of this research work is to learn about the words and meanings used by the users of the Confesiones San Marcos 12.0 website. This research is important because it contributes to lexical studies in social networks and demonstrates the creative capacity of language in this virtual space. Regarding the methodology, it should be noted that the selected corpus was collected entirely from the page Confesiones San Marcos 12.0, which classifies this research work within a non-experimental cross-sectional design; descriptive type. In this article, the visions and perceptions of national identity held by girls and boys residing in the border region of Tacna and Arica were explored. Therefore, a portion of the results obtained in the doctoral research thesis "Drawing the Border: Tacna and Arica from the perspective of boys and girls," presented in 2021 at the Department of Latin American Studies at the University of Brasilia, is presented. The purpose of this work was to understand and analyze how boys and girls conceived, experienced, and assimilated their national identity. To achieve this, specific questions were formulated, such as "What does it mean to you to be Peruvian?" and "What does it mean to you to be Chilean?" addressed to 27 students aged 10 to 12 from the Carlos Armando Laura School in Tacna (Peru) and 7 students of the same age group from various schools in the city of Arica (Chile). This study was p...

In the context of the fortieth anniversary of the Peruvian Civil Code, Dr. Freddy Escobar, one of the few national civil lawyers who has ventured into the study of Civil Law from the perspective of moral philosophy, offers us some important insights into the subject, its historical implications and its practical application.Furthermore, he assesses the work carried out by the lawmaker of the 1984 Civil Code from the aforementioned perspective. In our opinion, this is a necessary exercise, as in our environment this type of balance is usually formal or, in the best of cases, dogmatic. However, Professor Escobar’s contribution in this area is not limited to the narrow confines of this interview but is also (and above all) to be found in his written work. Some of the titles that we enthusiastically recommend are the foll...

Mountain regions face decisive challenges, not only for their sustainable development but also fortheir very reproduction. These challenges have to do with the increasingly serious impact of climate and environmental change, the impact of socioeconomic and cultural globalization on mountain populations and the ecosystems they inhabit, and the effects of urbanization on mountain agriculture. Based on these premises, this article introduces the notion of “montology” by investigating, on the one hand, the historical development of the term and, on the other, by presenting the essential principles of a perspective committed to building a real transdisciplinarity in mountain studies. Finally, through the example of urbanization and its impact on Andean agriculture, we intend to highlight the need to adopt a montological perspective in order to contribute to the analysis of human environme...
