The techniques for generating synthetic samples provided by stochastic hydrology have proved to be a powerful tool for advanced application of stochastic processes in hydrology and treatment of problems related to the size of the storage dams, mainly in areas with limited information hydrological as well as the planning and operation of water resource utilization. Indeed, stochastic hydrology allows the generation synthetic hydrologic series based on the analysis of the structure of short records, thus providing a panorama of possibilities of occurrence with hydro availability in the future, which allows a degree reliability than traditional methods, determining the main dimensions of the dam. Delays in the unloading and receiving of fuels due to low logistical capacity and infrastructure create bottlenecks and affect the distribution of crude oil. The objective of the research is to analyze the fuel reception, storage, and delivery process in a Cuban fuel distribution company. The methodology is descriptive and quantitative, with a systematic approach to assess the potential impacts of solutions on stakeholders, based on a bibliographic study, as well as an analysis using the General Problem-Solving Method. Scallion (Allium fistulosum) is a highly perishable green vegetable due to its moisture content, its high metabolic rate and their poor conditions of post-harvest during to harvest and transport. The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between visual deterioration´s product and changes generated in the mechanical and acoustic properties of the same. The scallion grown in Aquitania, Boyacá Colombia was stored under different conditions of storing: vacuum packed (10 mbar) and unpacked (HR 68%) and storage temperature 4 ºC and 16 ºC until deterioration by visual appearance. The acoustic mechanical changes in firmness, crispness and fracture for unpacked scallion and stored at 4 °C occurred on day 15 of storage, and visual deterioration on day 13. The soil is considered the largest carbon reservoir in nature after the oceans, its content has been studied mostly in forest ecosystems, leaving aside other important ecosystems such as high Andean natural pastures, whose plant cover is made up of species diversity, which occupy large areas. The objective of the research was to determine the influence of the altitudinal variability on the Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) storage capacity of the Stipa, Festuca and Calamagrostis species, as well as its relationship with the characteristics of the soils. 73 soil samples were extracted at 0.2 m depth, between altitudes of 4000 to 4410 m.a.s.l.; To determine the COS, the wet oxidation methodology was used. La investigación se centró en resolver los problemas de altos tiempos de inspección y almacenamiento en un almacén de repuestos que funciona como centro de distribución para los concesionarios de una empresa minorista de automóviles, identificando la distribución ineficiente y los traslados innecesarios como las principales causas. Se implementó un modelo basado en Lean Warehousing y gestión de almacenes con las herramientas lean, SLP y 7S, que luego de la simulación en el software Arena, resultó en un aumento de la productividad de 2.11 a 3.12 paquetes por hora hombre y una reducción del 17% en Tiempos de espera para paquetes de repuestos. Most Andean lakes and lagoons are used as reservoirs to manage hydropower generation and cropland irrigation, which, in turn, alters river flow patterns through processes of storage and discharge. The Carhuacocha and Vichecocha lagoons, fed by glaciers, are important aquatic ecosystems regulated by dams. These dams increase the flow of the Mantaro River during the dry season, supporting both energy production and irrigation for croplands. Water quality in the Carhuacocha and Vichecocha lagoons was assessed between storage and discharge events by using the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment Water Quality Index (CCME WQI) and multivariate statistical methods. Estas distintas actividades deben integrarse viendo el almacenamiento como un proceso y no como una función, a fin de poder operar con eficiencia. El proceso de la función logística encargada de la recepción, almacenamiento y movimiento de cualquier material se denomina gestión de almacenamiento, el cual indica dónde y cómo deben ser almacenados los materiales, algunos de los beneficios que genera una correcta gestión son la reducción de los costos de almacén y mejoras en el servicio al cliente mediante la aceleración del proceso de gestión de pedidos.

Este informe de suficiencia cubre la necesidad de una ONG dedicada a la investigación que se enfrenta al desafío de actualizar su infraestructura tecnológica para satisfacer las crecientes demandas de sus operaciones. Reemplazar los sistemas obsoletos y poco eficientes que actualmente utilizan se ha vuelto imperante. Estos requieren un alto consumo de energía debido a la gran cantidad de equipos involucrados, y su falta de escalabilidad y continuidad de negocio está obstaculizando su crecimiento.
