Las personas mayores a menudo coexisten con múltiples comorbilidades y polifarmacia, con el riesgo consiguiente de causar prescripción potencialmente inapropiada (PPI). Los criterios STOPP/START ayudan a una correcta prescripción para disminuir el riesgo de reacciones adversas o interacciones farmacológicas. El estudio tuvo por objetivo determinar los factores asociados a la PPI según STOPP/START en un hospital de la sierra central peruana. El estudio fue retrospectivo, analítico y transversal, de muestra representativa de población geriátrica con historia activa en el 2018. Se revisó las historias clínicas, valorando los criterios STOPP/START (versión 2014), se las clasificó y encontró factores asociados a la mala prescripción. Los resultados señalan que, de los 376 pacientes, tomaban en promedio 4,5 medicamentos/paciente. El 31,11% presentó alguna PPI según STOPP/START...

48 cases of ovarian pure dysgerminoma have been treated at INEN from 1971 to 1985. 5 cases were primarily treated at INEN and 43 (90%) were transferred from other hospitals in the country after surgery. Treatment policy was based on the NIE start radiotherapy if it was required, after confirming the optimal surgery according to clinical stage. 8 cases were staying I, 1 case of stay II, 22 cases were staying III, 8 cases with IV stay in 4 cases and could not establish clinical stage due to lack of data on the clinical history of the patient transferred. The on life at 5 years without disease for all stages was possible only go in 4 cases (3 stay III and stage IV 1); However a group of 11 patients without disease was followed for 2 years (9 cases of stage III and stage IV 2). In short, we believe that having done the analysis of different methods for the study and diagnosis of the IOE in order to make discrimination which corresponds to it and which could be due to a pathology associated, we can say: we understand in the diagnosis of SUI should be used in a coordinated and successively the various methods, which are not exclusive in this study but instead are complementary. El objetivo del estudio fue establecer la eficacia del uso del disco propioceptivo en la estabilidad postural estática y dinámica de deportistas que practican crossfit en el gimnasio Nuevo Nivel, Arequipa - 2021. Es de diseño experimental, explicativo, con pre y post prueba. La población estuvo constituida por 40 deportistas del gimnasio Nuevo Nivel crossfit Arequipa. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la técnica de la observación y los instrumentos el One Leg Standing Test (OLST) y el Start Excursión Balance Test (SEBT), para la detección de la estabilidad postural estática y dinámica, respectivamente, en los crossfiter. In developing countries, child labor has become a significant problem with adverse effects in the present and future for society and individuals. There are many causes that obligate children to abandon school and start working. Economic, social, familiar, and personal problems can expel children from school, inhibiting them from living appropriately. Polls like the ENAHO in Peru tried to recollect relevant data as much as possible to explain this problem. With many variables, it is necessary to have a methodology to build an algorithm with enough explanatory power to explain the situation. Therefore, this research elaborated an algorithm through Lasso to proportionate a statistical explanation of child labor. Due to the type of data, the regression was logistic.

Introduction. Pediatric systemic lupus erythematosus (pSLE) represents 15% of all SLE patients. Renal and neuropsychiatric involvement are more aggressive in pSLE, and single organ involvement is the most commonly found clinical form. Conditions such as cerebral infarction and serositis are unusual manifestation of pSLE. Therapy for pSLE is not different from that for the adult forms, and the therapy armamentarium is the same. Introducción. El LES pediátrico (LESp) representa el 15% de todos los pacientes con LES. La afectación renal y neuropsiquiátrica es más agresivo en el LESp, siendo la afectación de un solo órgano la forma clínica de aparición más común. Formas de presentación como infarto cerebral y serositis son manifestaciones poco frecuentes en el LESp.
