Three hundred fifty-seven university records of students reported as undergoing academic problems were studied between Abril 1990 and August 1996. Research was aimed at determining the contributing factors to the problem and also at designing academic support programs and psychopedagogical support actions, and others on a preventive basis. Three study areas were selected: intelligence, as assessed through the WAIS test; personality as assessed through both the GuilfordZimmerman Temperament and the MMPI Inventories; and study habit, through Brown’s Study Abilities Survey.

In the last half century,there were several attempts to adopt the notion of supervenience in order to shed light on the claim of generality that is involved in aesthetic judgments. In this paper I will show the difficulties brought up by the transposition of the notion of supervenience from other areas of philosophy to the philosophy of art and I will also show the intrinsic difficulties of this project. First, I will revise the origins of the notion of supervenience in contemporary ethics and philosophy of mind, as well as the theoretical framework in which this notion was first introduced. We have described in healthy adult subjects, in infants and in many patients the pathology, an oscillation of the two types of bilirubin in the blood twenty-four hours. This oscillation has periods of accumulation and excretion other, each of them, and is now expected to occur in cycles. We observed that the oscillation is influenced by sleep, food or physical effort. The results of the overcharging test of bilirubin are directly influenced by the cycle time of bilirubinemia; appearing even in normal subjects, inadequate testing, if implemented in periods of accumulation of bilirubin in the blood. The present article has the objective of analysing the provisions that the peruvian State has been adopting for the implementation of the persons labour law with disabilities. In concrete, the article examines the provisions of the employment rate, the obligation to adopt reasonable settings and the bonification for the access to public employment. Additionally, it will develop some problems originated from this implementation and it will explain the remaining normative problems that still exist in the protection of other dimensions about labour colective law and people with disabilities.

The paper analyzes how the strengthening of the Executive Branch has allowed the government to assume legislative functions that traditionally corresponded to the Legislative Branch, which has led to an increasingly active presence of the Executive in the field of normative production. In this regard, it is noted that the 1979 Constitution contemplated the delegation of legislative powers to the Executive, but the experience of the 1980s revealed deficiencies in the regulation and supervision of this delegation. The author mentions some examples in which the Executive dictated norms in matters such as organic laws, tax and criminal legislation, arguing that certain areas should be reserved only to the Parliament. Therefore, the paper proposes greater parliamentary control and the need to respect constitutional limits to avoid abuses in the use of these powers.

At present, social responsibility presents a problem and this refers to whether the social responsibility is only limited to social issues. Based on that scenario, the author emphasizes highlighting a broader vision that includes issues of human rights, the environment and relationships with local communities. Likewise, there is another parallel conflict between private business actors and the protective actions of public authorities. “The Problem of Violence in Mainländer’s Worldview”. Is it possible for a philosopher to, by example, promote violence as a means of conflict resolution? This paper analyzes the difficulties the clinical gynecologist for diagnosis of pelvic endometriosis and adenomyosis; which it is often performed after surgery or histiopatológico study. In this paper, the casuistry of Gynaecology of the Archbishop Loayza Hospital analyzed by studying 40 cases diagnosed in some of the locations of genital endometrium; emphasis is to point out that the laparoscopic diagnostic method is a breakthrough for identification of pelvic endometriosis. Is the expediency of adopting a classification of the extent of injuries, for a proper therapeutic approach using the classification of Kistner and thus to make a prognosis regarding the evolution of the disease after medical treatment and / or surgical, emphasizing fertility prognosis of many patients affected.

This contribution aims at showing the challenges faced by patients whose treatment for chronic and degenerative diseases implies weight control. Under a qualitative research approach, guided by psychoanalysis, in-depth interviews were conducted and data analyzed through content analysis. Results seem to indicate that the patients’ challenges have three dimensions: a) a socio-structurally institutional one, b) the therapeutic bond, and c) a psychic-drive correlate. It was concluded that patients attribute their main difficulties to the lack of institutional services and to the therapeutic bond; they do not acknowledge the inconsistencies in weight control within their psychic correlate, nor take responsibility for their treatment or self-care. Moreover, institutional shortcomings limit the treatment reach and contribute to the problem chronification.

The recognition of indigenous rights in the Constitution of Venezuela 1999 represents a conceptual tension in the way of conceiving the citizenship: means transit of a homogeneous citizenship to other multicultural character.
