In this work, we try to find factors that determine the export continuity of Peruvian apparel exporters. Logistic regression has been used because it gives several advantages over other methods where the outcome variable is dichotomous or continuous with few values. Logit model exhibits significant interactions which have been deeply analyzed. Likewise, it was possible an exhaustive residual and goodness-of-fit analysis. Finally, we could validate the model for forecast of export continuity in 2006.

The COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated the need for the implementation of a business continuity system in organizations to deal with critical situations and events that could stop their operations. The objective of this study is to design the business continuity management system (BCMS) of the Ravmar freight agency, based on the ISO 22301:2019 standard. The work method is analytical-descriptive and applied management. To do this, virtual interviews were held with Ravmar's Senior Management to learn about its processes in detail and, then, all the information obtained was analyzed in order to determine the company's level of compliance with the requirements of the ISO standard. In Peru, the textile industry is the third activity with the highest contribution to manufacturing GDP. However, most companies suffer from a lack of production planning, organizational culture and training. This research has focused on the development of a proposed improvement model, combining Lean Manufacturing and Systematic Layout Planning tools to solve the main problems that arise in this type of companies. Which is evaluated through a simulation in the Software Arena for validation, where a 39.76% decrease in transfer time, a 15.11% reduction in cycle time and a 17.99% increase in productivity was obtained.

The restaurant industry is a sector of great importance in Peru, which was one of the most affected during the pandemic due to the sanitary measures that prevented its normal operation. Once these measures were diminished and regular attention returned, the sector grew in an accelerated manner. With this growth, restaurants had to face a major problem: low customer satisfaction, as long wait- ing times and poor service became recurrent issues. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo optimizar la excelencia operativa en el servicio logístico de una empresa especializada en la comercialización de dispositivos médicos para el sector salud en Perú. A partir del análisis del caso, se identificaron dos problemas críticos que impactan negativamente en su desempeño: (i) los incumplimientos de plazos de entrega de pedidos institucionales y (ii) la demora en el armado de expedientes para facturación y cobranzas.
