The problem of safe obstetrical care has special relevance in recent years due to the interest of health professionals in reducing adverse events and improving healthcare. However, this is pursued in complex, uncertain and variable scenarios and risks, where human behavior may increase the probability of error. We often have to make short term decisions when attending two patients simultaneously – mother and fetus-, and the mother expects a deferential treatment during pregnancy, delivery and the puerperium. These processes involve multiple activities and tasks, and failures may occur. Faced with the paradigm change of involving the patient in the care and decision making process, we have to provide them with the most complete evidence, to avoid contingencies and to obtain the best possible results.

Purpose: To examine the historical process for institutionalization of therapeutic abortion in Peru and to explain its current condition. Methodology: Review of bibliographic information available in the country regarding the process conducted by many institutions to have the Ministry of Health approve the National Guide for Therapeutic Abortion. Faced with increased demands for medical malpractice, there is the problem of identifying a strategy that addresses immedíate damage caused by errors or adverse events loc for healthcare practice. The report identifies 3 thesis, two already known: to establish insurance funds, and one that is based on the simple use of the budget allocated to health facilities, as indeed is often done, in many cases, though unofficially. The assessment of what happened in our reality, and an evaluation of the ethical, are used to determine the best strategy would be to use the budget as the other two more expensive health processes for administrative payments to the intermedíary in the case of insurance, or investment resources, in the case of funds and having to use the same time health workers to the respective health services. The objective of this study is to determine the incidence of PETS-Base with occupational health and safety in the Small Underground Mining, case of the Arequipa M Unit of the Caudalosa Mining Company, 2015; It is a descriptive, cross-sectional investigation with a descriptive-correlational design. With the survey technique, a Likert questionnaire of 31 questions was applied to 25 people in charge of the application of the PETS-Base, the information was processed with the SPSS v.21. The results indicate a level of significance of Sig = 0.00124665 and a rho of Spearman, r = 0.782. Manual drying and selection activities contain many occupational hazards, affecting the safety and well-being of the people involved in these tasks, with the ergonomic risk of an intolerable level requiring immediate intervention. These processes must be safe, both internally (for workers) and externally (for communities and ecosystems) and must contribute to sustainable development, ensuring the efficient use of natural resources and promoting the use of renewable resources. An example is the production cellulose pulp that is produced throughout Latin America (Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay), but a sustainable industrial process can be developed nationally.
