In this paper we will present the collection of part of the lexicon related to the manufacturing process of the Peruvian wines in order to achieve a basic understanding of this topic. For data collection, it was considered necessary to develop a questionnaire whose application was carried out in some wineries located in the city of Lima. Once the necessary corpus was collected, it was systematized following different criteria stipulated by the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) in the latest edition of the Dictionary of the Spanish Language.

This article addresses the relationship between the Process and the Constitution. For this purpose, it is explained what is the object of study of the Procedural Law, and which is the litigation model adopted in article 139 of the Peruvian Constitution, why this model is about a system with its own autonomy and substantivity and not about a subsystem, and how Civil Law and Common Law converging in this model. Furthermore, the author establishes, based on the Constitution, the reason why the existing procedural guarantees in our legal system do not imply a “right to a right decision”, but only the right to a fair process, and explains the difference between “fair process” and “justice” or “judicial truth”.

Suffrage did not originate as the right we know today, but was aligned with the social interests of those groups that held power. This paper offers an overview of the evolution of the electoral process in the Peruvian democratic system, with a focus on the latest contributions made in 2006. The author discusses the constitutional reform that granted police and military personnel the right to vote, the implementation of the electoral barrier, and the Political Parties Act. Additionally, the author evaluates the possibility of non-reelection for congressional positions and highlights pending tasks such as granting the right to vote for incarcerated individuals and eliminating the preferential vote.

Peruvian retail market today, more than ever, has turned the phrase “everything goes through the eyes” into a competitive tool. The design and optimization of space, as well as visual merchandising, are techniques that impact the sale new concepts such as omnicanality and buying experience are fed by data analytics in order to describe the commercial mode; and new qualitative sources of information, among them color theory, specially help to understand and predict the impact of future decisions on the point of sale. This paper describes the utility of image processing techniques to innovate the retail market in the effort to extract useful information from advertising pieces frequently used in this sector.

The study presents the results of a bibliographic review on constitutionalism that was established after the war of independence and that was assumed by the Constituent Congress of 1822. From the perspective of the historiography of law with an interdisciplinary approach, it is proposed a valuation of the role and contribution of women, peasants and Afro-descendants to the political independence of our country. El objetivo del estudio es determinar la relación entre un conjunto de tareas de escritura y la memoria auditiva inmediata, así como establecer diferencias en función al sexo y el grado de estudios. Participaron 203 escolares de quinto y sexto grado de educación de primaria de Lima (Perú), seleccionados mediante un muestreo no probabilístico. Se utilizaron el Test de Memoria Auditiva Inmediata y la Batería de Evaluación de los Procesos de Escritura (PROESC). Para el análisis descriptivo se utilizaron medidas de tendencia central. Para el análisis inferencial se emplearon la U de Mann-Whitney, Rho de Spearman y la probabilidad de superioridad como medida del tamaño del efecto. La aplicación de sanciones administrativas (por ejemplo, las multas) tiene como objetivo desincentivar determinados comportamientos, reduciendo los costos sociales generados como consecuencia de los mismos. Usualmente, esta labor se encuentra en manos de entidades administrativas como los reguladores, supervisores, autoridades de competencia y ministerios. El objetivo general del trabajo de investigación fue determinar si las sanciones administrativas, inciden en el debido proceso en el Ejército Peruano. El presente artículo presenta las consideraciones para efectuar propuestas de mejora de procesos en el área de producción de un astillero. La investigación resume la problemática actual en las operaciones industriales en un astillero naval peruano, en el cual se describe el análisis y el diagnóstico de la empresa en donde se evidencia los sobrecostos generados por horas extras de la mano de obra, y finalmente se determinan algunas propuestas de mejora mediante la aplicación de herramientas de calidad para la optimización de procesos productivos.

El presente trabajo de investigación aborda la tarea del reconocimiento automático de texto escrito a mano (handwritten text recognition - HTR, por sus siglas en inglés) en los manuscritos históricos de autores peruanos, que están bajo la custodia de la Biblioteca Nacional del Perú (BNP), enfrentando diversas dificultades como la variabilidad caligráfica, el deterioro del papel, entre otras. Para esta tarea, se emplearon modelos de reconocimiento de imágenes preentrenados en otros idiomas disponibles en la plataforma de código abierto denominado OCR4all.
