In this paper, an analysis of deep learning techniques for weather forecasting using statistical downscaling approaches was developed. These are important, since they allow adjusting large-scale climate projections generated by the GCM climate model to more accurate and defined forecasts for specific areas, thus allowing overcoming the limitations of traditional numerical models in the representation of local and small-scale phenomena. Studies implementing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) were analyzed in order to improve the spatial and temporal resolution of climate data. The craft beer industry has developed in the Peruvian market by 2023, representing sales of 2.33 billion; However, its productivity rate of 12% is still low compared to the industry's average productivity of 55%. Among the causes of the problem, the lack of a production plan and a demand forecasting system was identified; Therefore, the objective of this study is to develop a forecast model for the demand for beer and the economic order quantity of raw materials to develop an adequate production and supply plan to increase productivity in the study company. The textile industry represents 6.4% of the G.D.P., which has a high demand for orders with fast and correct deliveries. Nevertheless, there is a rate of returns that has been increasing in the last few years due to the high number of orders received. For this reason, the article is based on a case study of a SME.That sells children's clothing in Peru. A model was developed using 5s methodology, ABC Multicriteria, Jidoka, and Standardized Work, seeking to improve the current 7.14% of returns. The proposed model was implemented with a pilot plan and simulated with Arena Software, proving that the combination of Lean methodologies can optimize the warehouse processes, reducing the rate of returns to 4%.

La problemática observada en el almacén de una empresa de autopartes son los altos tiempos en el proceso de preparación de pedidos debido a la falta de herramientas de mejora continua en el proceso mismo. El objetivo de esta investigación es proponer un modelo de gestión del proceso de picking para reducir los tiempos en la atención de pedidos mediante la herramienta 5´S. Para ello, se realizó un estudio empírico con alcance cuasi experimental y post positivista, bajo la modalidad de estudio de caso. Se evidenció la diferencia en el tiempo de preparación dependiendo del tipo de trabajador en el almacén, y mediante la aplicación de las 5´S y estandarización de trabajo se logró una reducción significativa en el tiempo de picking del 41,37% en el caso de los nuevos operadores, del 32,80% para un operador estándar y del 11,82% para los operadores experimentados.

Currently, there are few studies that apply geostatistical simulation methods to model the geomechanical properties of rock masses, and most of these studies overlook the anisotropy of the geotechnical data. Therefore, the objective of the present study is to develop a 3D geotechnical model using geostatistical techniques and thereby establish the geotechnical parameters used to identify geotechnical zones with potential risk. The over-exploitation of our country’s coastal aquifer to supply water demand for domestic and agricultural use has caused in recent years an increasing problem of seawater intrusion into these aquifers. One way for diagnosis and solutions design to solve this problem came from the mathematical modelling of the transitional regime, which basically consist in the numerical solution of the dynamical equations of water flows in a aquifer by finite difference techniques. Objective: To compare in vitro the positional accuracy of short abutment analogs splinted with dental floss versus short abutment analogs splinted with Bis-Acryl bars as a preliminary step to obtaining the working model in the preparation of implant-supported prostheses in total edentulous mandibles. Materials and methods: An aluminum master model simulating an edentulous mandible with five analogues was prepared. Using a customized tray and by means of a technique for fixing the transfers to it, thirty impressions were recorded, which were divided into three groups: SF group (without splinting), FHD group (splinting with dental floss) and FBA group (splinting with Bis-Acryl bars). For the reconstruction of the school argumentative discourse, two theoretical tools have been used: Lo Cascio’s (1998) textual linguistics —useful in order to discover the argumentative framework— and the new rhetoric of Perelman and Olbrechts-Tyteca (1958/1989), which will serve to recognize the argumentative techniques used. The authors bring us a general approximation of the regulatory model related to hydrocarbon exploration and production activities in Spain. In this sense, the analysis is focused in the increased use of the hydraulic fracturing technique, better known as «fracking». In particular, the authors analyze the case of the refusal of some Spanish Autonomous Communities regarding the implementation of this technique and how the Central Government has faced that opposition.
