This work describes and evaluates the application of a module to increase the specific abilities set in action when students resolve math problems. Such abilities are: analyzing the problem, identifying and laying out strategies, applying algorithms and revising the process that leads to the solution. The module presents problems solved by the teacher (modelling strategies) and uses the work of peers in order to consolidate and evaluate the work. The study uses a quasi experimental design with two pre defined groups, pre and post test. The sample was not probabilistic and was formed by 70 students. A test with 10 math problems was used as the instrument meant for the students to use the four strategies suggested in the module. Results show a difference in favor of the experimental group, which allows us to conclude that the module has an influence in the evaluated abilities.

The objective was to evaluate the effect of the application of the GeoGebra software on the problem-solving skills of two-dimensional geometric figures in a sample of 53 university students distributed in two groups (control -experimental) evaluated in two moments: before and after the intervention. . Parametric tests were used to compare independent and related pairs and nonparametric tests were used to compare between classification levels. The results showed that the post-test experimental group was the one that presented the best performance, demonstrating that the use of GeoGebra software improved the solving skills of this type of mathematical problems, promoting collaborative work, social-student integration and improvement of the classroom climate. It is recommended to extend the use of this tool with other applications that help the teaching-learning process.

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo diseñar el programa cuentos que cuentan para potenciar el desarrollo de las nociones básicas matemáticas en niños de cinco años, el tipo de investigación es descriptiva, propositiva, no experimental. Competencies in math and science should be developed in teachers to exemplify students. For example, the archaeological complex of Raqchi or temple of the God Weracocha are ruins of the Inca culture. The objective was to find how many inhabitants the Inca citadel of Raqchi housed with mathematical competence, solve problems of quantity and science, investigate through scientific methods in secondary education teachers. The study was qualitative, with a content review and analysis methodology; four teachers from the Canas and Canchis Local Educational Management Unit were formed who solved the problem from virtual collegiate meetings. The purpose of this work is to analyze the activities related to Financial Education in the textbooks used in Primary Education, both in public and subsidized schools in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, considering the OECD definition for financial competence. Through a qualitative methodological process, based on content analysis, an entire textbooks' series was studied for the subject of mathematics. The outcome showed the existence of 252 activities that agree with the Financial Education proposed model, highlighting the categories of money's value (145 activities) and state and citizens (133) with the greatest presence and, therefore, with the greatest development. According to this, we consider that a good culture in financial education in an early schooling facilitates the various economic decisions faced by students insituations of economic uncertainty.
