En el presente trabajo se evidencia la importancia del perfil del turista que visita el atractivo turístico “Kuélap, Machu Pichu”. Kuélap es considerado de similar valor con Machu Picchu sin embargo, todavía no está en la dimensión competitiva esperada y que requiere de soluciones integrales, inmediatas y sostenibles. Los turistas nacionales visitan en su mayoría Kuélap, el teleférico dió el valor agregado desde el 2017, los días de mayor afluencia de visitas son los días festivos, alojamiento en hoteles mayoría de 02 estrellas y 03 estrellas. Llegada a Chachapoyas por vía terrestre. Poca disponibilidad de dinero para la estadía en el tours. Raising awareness about the environmental risks faced by the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, providing tools for thinking that will contribute to addressing the Sanctuary’s problems,and finally, contributing to the debate by forwarding a proposal for the Sanctuary’s sustainable management are the purposes of this study. In the first section, statistics show Peru is basically a unipolar travel destination. The second section presents the complex problems identified at the Sanctuary. To conclude, the study presents a proposed solution, including setting up a structure tomanage the Sanctuary’s strategic planning while abiding by the key principles of sustainable development.

El Santuario Histórico de Machu Picchu, así como los pueblos de Ollantaytambo, Urubamba, Guayllabamba y Yucay presentan una gran problemática para la disposición final de los desechos sólidos que ellos generan. Estos desechos crean focos de infección por su tratamiento inadecuado, contaminando el Valle Sagrado de los Incas, el río Urubamba y otros lugares. Razón por la cual, se ha proyectado un Relleno Sanitario Manual en el área de Yuncacha Huayco, en el distrito de Urubamba, para lo cual se presenta el Estudio Geológico- Geotécnico, que abordará los temas de geomorfología, estratigrafía, geología económica, suelo, subsuelo, condiciones de cimentación, análisis de estabilidad de taludes, diseño antisísmico y otros.

En el marco de las acciones de supervisión y fiscalización que constantemente realiza el Indecopi para salvaguardar los derechos de los consumidores, personal especializado de la Oficina Regional del Indecopi en Cusco inspeccionó 68 locales comerciales que brindan servicios turísticos en la localidad de Aguas Calientes, en el distrito de Machu Picchu, provincia de Urubamba, Cusco.

En el marco de la estrategia nacional ‘Turismo Seguro’, lanzado recientemente por el gobierno a través del Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo (Mincetur), el Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (Indecopi), en coordinación con dicho ministerio, presentó la guía digital ‘Ruta segura, destino Machu Picchu’ en la que se dan a conocer los derechos de los turistas nacionales y extranjeros que visitan la ciudad del Cusco, así como las obligaciones que deben cumplir los proveedores de turismo, transporte, hospedaje y restaurantes de la Ciudad Imperial.

En esta investigación se realizó el desarrollo y la implementación de un chatbot para el aprendizaje de la historia y arqueología de Machu Picchu, el cual se identificó como problemática el bajo nivel de conocimiento de las personas referente al tema señalado. En ese contexto, el objetivo general planteado fue determinar el efecto del uso del chatbot en el aprendizaje, a través del aplicativo se logró aportar información confiable recopilada de fuentes oficiales, la cual tuvo como principal motivo fortalecer el desarrollo cognitivo de los usuarios permitiendo así contribuir en el aporte de conocimiento para la mejora de una sociedad culturizada. Ante el feriado largo por Semana Santa, la Oficina Regional del Indecopi en Cusco recomienda a los consumidores que planean viajar a esta región para visitar la ciudadela de Machu Picchu, comprobar la disponibilidad de los servicios ofrecidos (trenes, buses, hospedajes, ingresos, etc.) antes de programar sus viajes. Asimismo, les recuerda que deben contratar y adquirir servicios o productos a proveedores formales para evitar conflictos en el consumo que causen situaciones incómodas durante estas fechas.

The global average background dose for a human being is about 2.4 millisievert (mSv) per year. This exposure is produced mainly by cosmic radiation and radioactive materials that are naturally in the environment and are the reason why the level of natural radiation of the background varies from one zone to another in some areas and that this level is significantly higher than the average [3]. Such areas include Ramsar in Iran, Guarapari in Brazil, Kerala in India, the northern Flinders Ranges in Australia and Yangjiang in China. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general conocer el desarrollo del turismo accesible para personas con discapacidad física en Machu Picchu – Cusco, 2019. El método de investigación que se realizó fue de enfoque cualitativo, diseño etnográfico y tuvo como instrumento principal a las entrevistas, herramienta que se utilizó para poder conocer de qué manera se viene desarrollando: el marketing turístico, la infraestructura, la señalización, y la capacitación al personal, fundamentales categorías del turismo accesible, así como lo menciona PROMPERU. The data were obtained in field using a thermographic camera and an infrared thermometer.Our results show the intervals and averages of the selected temperatures, as well as the differences between sexes of each species. Thisinformation constitutes the first effort in Peru to understand the temperature ranges that natural and artificial bat refuges should have.
