Communication for development (CfD) is a discipline that seeks to promote social change through the strategic use of media and participatory dialogue. However, there is a paucity of studies that systematically and critically analyze the social processes underlying CfD interventions and their impact on the social significance of beneficiary communities. This article presents a narrative review of the literature on CfD, with the aim of identifying the main theoretical and methodological approaches that have addressed this topic, as well as the main limitations and challenges facing research in this field. Thirty-five articles published between 2018 and 2023 were analyzed, selected through a search in the Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO, Redalyc and Latindex databases. Presently work is given to know the importance of the previous characterization of the diverse types of minerals of Fe. The importance of the metallurgical properties and its respective mineralogy characterization are important for the development of respective metallurgical processes appropriate. In this work, it is given to know mineralogy characterizations of diverse Minerals of Fe. These results can be useful, for example in the development of processes of direct reduction with Gas.

Peruvian retail market today, more than ever, has turned the phrase “everything goes through the eyes” into a competitive tool. The design and optimization of space, as well as visual merchandising, are techniques that impact the sale new concepts such as omnicanality and buying experience are fed by data analytics in order to describe the commercial mode; and new qualitative sources of information, among them color theory, specially help to understand and predict the impact of future decisions on the point of sale. This paper describes the utility of image processing techniques to innovate the retail market in the effort to extract useful information from advertising pieces frequently used in this sector.

En este trabajo de tesis se presenta el desarrollo de una herramienta software basada en el lenguaje XPDL, que incluye como parte de sus funcionalidades: la definición de procesos, la explosión de actividades, la definición de metodologías y la gestión de versiones de los procesos y metodologías. Para lograr dicho objetivo, se ha desarrollado una extensión al XPDL que permita el manejo de los conceptos de: explosión, metodologías y versionado de procesos, dado que son conceptos que no se encuentran incluidos de forma nativa en el mencionado lenguaje.

The objective of the research work was to propose a teaching method that allowed the self-management of knowledge related to the zoology of invertebrates by the students of the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Education career, comparing in-person learning vs. those not in attendance. For the development of the research, information gathering and processing methods were used, which allowed us to verify the shortcomings in terms of the use and elaboration of this type of teaching medium, for the teaching-learning process from the non-face-to-face modality. The problem posed in this investigation is that a mutual fund management company maintained traditional processes of subscription and redemption of quotas in the funds, which caused great economic inefficiencies and discontent among clients. That is why the objective of this research was to propose a proposal to improve customer service processes through the application of a digital transformation through agile methodologies such as Design Thinking and Lean Startup through quasi-experimental practical research. In this way, it was possible to increase profits and customer experience. After the implementation, it was evidenced that thanks to this, the number of AUMs and participants increased by +15% per month and +55%, since the implementation, respectively, translating, later, into higher profits for the company (+10%).

Mexico is one of the leading citrus producers worldwide. This work presents an analysis for improving the citrus waxing process in a company dedicated to this activity, located in the town of Álamo, Temapache, in the northern part of the state of Veracruz, Mexico. This study used the ten approaches to operations analysis to find areas of opportunity where the company could improve; the implementation of lean manufacturing tools such as 5s, Kaizen, and autonomous maintenance was suggested to optimize the waxing process. As a result of this analysis, an improvement proposal was developed regarding simplifying operating procedures, improving the handling of materials, and optimal use of equipment, allowing the company to be more efficient and productive.

El propósito de la presente investigación es implementar la Robotic Process Automation (RPA) y mejorar la productividad en el área de pagos en una empresa del sector retail, evaluando los indicadores tiempo de transacción por factura, tiempo de validación de factura y horas de trabajo.
