In this work three mathematical models of transmission lines are shown, the most used, to simulate electromagnetic transients in power systems. In addition, its main characteristics, advantages and disadvantages are mentioned. Likewise, the algorithms are shown in the form of flow charts for the simulations of the transients. Finally, the results of simulations of maneuvering surges in a single-phase transmission line using the MATLAB software are shown.

A line balancing model for a tempered glass processing company was developed in this study, aimed at demonstrating how its implementation helps to improve productivity. The model is based on the development of the five steps of the theory of constraints (TOC): identify the constraint, exploit the constraint, subordinate everything to the constraint, elevate the constraint, and check if there is a new constraint. Once the restriction was identified, it was exploited using improvement actions, such as the detection and elimination of mudas (wastes), and the application of the 5S methodology until a production capacity in line with demand was achieved. Este artículo propone un análisis y una descripción matemática de la función de reconexión para 220kV y 500kV, las oscilaciones de potencia y su mejora en la estabilidad global del sistema eléctrico. Los hallazgos fueron el algoritmo de detección de oscilaciones de potencia causadas por la interacción del condensador fijo en serie (FSC), los reactores en derivación y las líneas aéreas; los resultados también demuestran que el análisis ATP permite detectar oscilaciones de amortiguación en 220kV de 3,1 pu. Objective: To identify the factors that influence the adoption of technological tools by business students during the pandemics. Method: Quantitative with the submission of an online quiz to students of a Brazilian university which was estimated by a Structured Equation Model. Results: The perceived usefulness and ease of use of a technological tool do not have a positive influence on the students' attitudes towards its use; at the same time, a positive relation was found between the interactivity and the cost-benefit ratio of the platforms and students' attitudes. Conclusion: It can be concluded that offering a digital teaching platform with resources that allow high interaction between students and instructors and does not involve high costs for students, can help to increase the willingness to use the platform.

El trabajo de suficiencia profesional (TSP) se realiza bajo el contexto de las empresas peruanas del sector manufacturero, ya que bajaron sus índices de producción, lo que no coincide con la creciente demanda del sector. Por eso, la investigación busca aumentar la eficiencia en la producción de una empresa que fabrica productos de fibrocemento, que presenta un porcentaje del OEE en un 22,53 % por debajo del índice mundial. Los sectores económicos presentan una utilización promedio de su eficiencia general de los equipos del 85%. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo general el desarrollo de una propuesta de mejora para las áreas de producción y logística de la línea de calzado cosido tres líneas para reducir los costos operativos de la empresa Creaciones Nihjardi. En primer lugar, se hizo un diagnóstico general de la situación actual de la empresa en estudio para las áreas de producción y logística de la línea de calzado Cosido Tres Líneas, que fue seleccionada por el hecho de que dicho modelo de calzado posee la mayor demanda y además problemas concurriendo los altos costos operativos. Objective. To determine the impact of having Regular Basic Education (EBR) studies on the condition of being poor in the population of the Huánuco region (Peru), for the period 2010-2020. Methods. The research was applied, adopted an explanatory level and a non-experimental design. Human capital theory and data from the National Household Survey were used as a theoretical basis for the estimation of a probit model. Results. It was found that people with secondary education are less likely to be poor. In particular, it was found that the probability of being monetarily poor of a person with initial, primary and secondary education decreases by 0.11 pp, 2.19 pp and 3.60 pp, respectively. Conclusions. It is concluded that having a higher level of RBS education leads to a greater decrease in the probability of being poor from the monetary approach to poverty.
