This research sought to describe the teaching strategies used by teachers in the interaction processes of first grade students in two educational institutions in Lima. The technique used was, in the first place, observation, for which a field notebook and a checklist were used. Second, interviews were applied to teachers. Among the finds, the significance of the strategies employed, such as teamwork, dynamics of integration and assignment of roles in the modes of interaction of first grade students, was evidenced. Likewise, certain predominant attitudes were observed among some students, which evidenced the establishment of both horizontal and vertical interactions.

The objective of this research was to analyze the modes of socialization of first and second grade students of an educational institution for a harmonious coexistence. The study is of a mixed, descriptive and non-experimental nature. The information collection was carried out considering three categories: modes of interaction, types of student games, and common conflicts through the techniques of observation, interview and survey. From the analysis of the findings, it was identified that the interaction between the students is mainly aggressive; the most common types of play are "chapadas", fights and lying one under the other, most of which include acts of violence; and more recurrent conflicts lead to hitting and shoving situations.

The objective of this study is to explore the perceptions of university students regarding the use of Second Life as a collaborative virtual reality platform for learning science subjects. A cross-sectional non-experimental descriptive analytical empirical research design was employed, utilizing quantitative techniques to gather data from 123 students regarding their experiences with immersion. The results reveal that students exhibited genuine engagement with the virtual environment, displaying high levels of interaction and motivation, which in turn increased their level of participation in immersive activities. These findings suggest that incorporating science content into a virtual world offers diverse didactic possibilities and encourages new forms of engagement among participants in educational processes. The study highlights the potential of virtual reality for enhancing higher ed...

The lockdown situation has exposed citizens to a profusion of information about COVID-19, both official and unofficial, with different sources and varying degrees of reliability. Uncertainty spurs the search for information since the health of citizens depends on it. This study explores the mediation processes involved in building trust in actors linked to the COVID-19 pandemic and media consumption on the prevention measures that citizens take for their care. A representative sample of 1211 Mexican citizens was subject to the study. Among the main results is that citizens are very informed about COVID-19, engage in considerable media consumption, and have substantial institutional trust, particularly in non-governmental organizations. Regarding prevention measures, these are associated with people's trust in health sector employees. Likewise, regarding the acceptance of both true and fa...

The current Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the way we interact in various spaces of our social life, one of these spaces is the large transport stations in many cities in the world. In this sense, for the development of this text, a rapid transit bus system that operates in the city of Lima, the “Metropolitan”, will be an empirical case to reflect on this impact. In this way, to understand said repercussion, in the first place, it will focus on the mobility and social interactions of the users of the Metropolitano until before the pandemic. To do so later, analyze how the present context has impacted on the way of interacting in this transport system. In short, to generate greater support for this text, some responses that have been compiled through a virtual form on the experience of traveling in the Metropolitan in this pandemic will be used and analyzed. Likewise, some eth...

Interviews, crucial for journalistic practice and qualitative research, capture the profound meaning of human thought. In 2023, artificial intelligence (AI) tools became widespread, including their use in recording, transcribing, and subtitling speeches. The study aims to identify the most suitable AI for transcribing recordings in Spanish, prioritizing task completeness, efficiency, and effectiveness. The selected AI will be applied to a corpus of 450 short interviews, which will then be coded and analyzed for content. The article focuses on four Spanish-language AI transcription tools: Office 365 (Word) Transcribe, Amazon Transcribe, Notta, and Whisper. The technology allows harnessing the richness of the original recording without the intervention, and potential modification, of the person or virtual assistant transcribing it. The results highlight the speed of transcription and the a...

The Feminist HCI is characterized as the integration of feminist theory into HCI practice, which can occur at all stages of the design process, including user research, prototyping and evaluation. However, there is still a research gap on the integration of feminism with established HCI methods. An HCI methodology that is also concerned with human values and the possible consequences of technological artifacts is Value Sensitive Design (DSV). The present work seeks to answer how to include Feminism HCI in the HCI Project with the VSD. This research took place in the context of ELLAS Project, an Open Data platform that aims to contribute to the reduction of the gender difference in STEM in Brazil, Peru and Bolivia.
