This paper proposes a new multifractal model, with the aim to provide a possible explanation to the locality phenomena to appear in the estimation of Hurst exponent in stationary second order temporal series, representing the self-similar traffic flows in high-speed computer networks. Analytically it is shown that this phenomenon occurs if the network flow consists of several components whit different Hurst exponents.

The stock market has many investment opportunities, with expectations of good results in the end will be translated into sustained and growing performance for the investor , if you choose a good strategy, the risk taken could not compromise the sustainability of structured portfolio. For that purpose, equity finance have a number of models that can make a right choice when demand financial assets; although the degree of predictability there might be a bias between what is observed and what is projected, but not without interest to make decisions in the stock market models. This article, in its first part, methodologically exposes some of these models, such as the Sharpe Ratio, which well could be adjusted to the requirements of those who are used to manage portfolios of financial assets.

The location of an industrial plant, is the process of choosing a geographical location to perform the operations of a company. To determine the best location, you must perform an assessment of the factors affecting the selection. Two groups of factors are considered: Quantitative, which are easy to quantify and Qualitative that are less tangible, hard to quantify, evaluation of the latter depends on the judgment of the analyst, keeping a tinge of subjectivity, making no model used to ensure that the venue is optimal. Predation models are a great source of study from both an ecological and a mathematical point of view, especially for the analysis of trophic chains. The determination of the dynamics of the systems that describe them, as well as the verification of the nature of these properties by the interacting species, is a topic that is sometimes not always correlated. The Government of laws comes from the Legislative State, whose essential element, among others, is the effective jurisdictional custodyof all the rights and liberties; in this perspective the author inspects the evolution of the denomination of Government of laws; he explains the jurisdictional custody and the due process like fundamental rights; if both rights have identity relation or are different; it also exposes his proposal on the matter; and finally it deals with the recognition of these two rights in the Peruvian Law.

The paper develops a model that improves the measurement of correlations present in stress scenarios through the use of copulas, reorders the propagation of shocks and involves expert judgments to improve predictions through a Bayesian VAR, it is shown that, under scenarios of a systemic crisis, losses can reach high percentages. Considering a loss rate associated with counterparty default of 45% and a default threshold between 4% and 8% suggested by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, it is estimated that an external shock can generate falls of more than 10% in the different financial variables: the savings rate, stock market indexes, the exchange rate, among others. In various previous works, different predation models have been analyzed considering the use of refuge by the prey population, without carrying out an exhaustive analysis of its dynamics. In some of them it is stated that the use of shelters or dens by a fraction of the prey population has a stabilizing effect on predator-prey interaction. One of the objectives of this work is to show that some of these new systems considering refuge may have the same topological portrait in the phase plane as the original; but in others the dynamics change strongly.
