Communication for development (CfD) is a discipline that seeks to promote social change through the strategic use of media and participatory dialogue. However, there is a paucity of studies that systematically and critically analyze the social processes underlying CfD interventions and their impact on the social significance of beneficiary communities. This article presents a narrative review of the literature on CfD, with the aim of identifying the main theoretical and methodological approaches that have addressed this topic, as well as the main limitations and challenges facing research in this field. Since the growing health crisis produced by COVID-19, our economic, social, and judicial environment has undergone several changes. Among these changes are the measures adopted by the judiciary to continue protecting rights and to continue with «normality» in its own work. This article comments on Directive No. 007-2020-CE-PJ approved by Administrative Resolution of the Executive Council of the Judiciary No. 000167-2020-CE-PJ, which implemented the «Simplified and Virtual Process of Food for Children and Adolescents». Indeed, it will be analyzed its main scopes and relevant modifications with regards to the traditional process. Likewise, the experience of the Superior Court of Justice of La Libertad with respect to the implementation of the virtual form of food demand will be taken into consideration.

Los padres ocupan un lugar muy importante en el crecimiento de los hijos, siendo uno de los principales garantes de un adecuado logro de las diferentes tareas que los hijos enfrentan en cada etapa. Así pues, por un lado, favorecen el desarrollo saludable proveyéndoles del sostén y acompañamiento que ellos necesitan (Carver y Scheier, 1997; Kantrowitz y Springen, 2005). Por otro, actúan como factor protector ante problemas de conducta, dificultades académicas, depresión, etc. (O’Connor, 1995; McCurdy y Scherman, 1996; Klein, Forehand, Armistead, Long, 1997; Ausloos, 1998; Wittekind y Vazsonyi, 2003).

This article seeks to be a source of knowledge and help students and teachers, from the synthesis of the personal college student’s experience in developing their learning to the teaching of natural sciences at the secondary level. In addition, during the development of this article, there are some of the advantages and limitations encountered at this stage of studies contrasted with the reality of education in our country, and it provides a global vision and a neutral point of view about the problems faced by many students during the university life, which often has not been able to be transmitted in its entirety, however, through this document it seeks to break these patterns and improve communication between the authorities and students.

Background: Mechanical reasoning (MR) is the ability to identify the components of a system and understand how they interact in order for the system to work. Different mechanical systems, such as those of wheels and gears, require different types of reasoning. Objective: This study seeks to analyze the relationship that working memory (WM) and processing speed (PS) have with MR. Method: One hundred seventy-three (173) university students were assessed through the DAT test which consisted of 30 MR problems, the symbol search subtest of the WAIS-III battery for assessing the PS, and the BIMET-V and BIMET-VE batteries to evaluate the WM verbal and visuospatial components. Children's clowning promotes learning because it captures children's attention, encouraging their participation. Therefore, the objective of this study was to implement a guide to recreational activities based on clowning in the teaching-learning process in children of Initial Education II of the “Explora Kids” School of the Pujilí Canton - Ecuador. We worked with a qualitative approach of a descriptive type and prospective level, the key informants were 15 students and two teachers from the aforementioned context. Constitutional rationality dictates that procedural safeguards will be balanced in order to consider the interests of both parties that in this case are opposed in a controversy. The concept of rationality is analized by the author as a value that goes beyond the scope of the legal right, that is, as a constitutive element of the homo sapiens. This is the reason why the conviction is spread among constitutionalists and legal philosophers that the principle of practical rationality has assumed the rank of constitutional value because of the constitutionalization of human rights. All of this is explained in the prospective of the civil process, where the constituent has instituted the guarantee of the appeal in order to guarantee equality in the treatment for the procedural parties.

In this work the author addresses the problem of the truth of the facts and their investigation, as well as the role of the judge in the civil process. To this end, the author carefully studies the principles that guide the civil process: the dispositive principle and the inquisitorial principle. Regarding the former, it can be observed that the judge has, in the process, an attenuated role and a limited focus on the knowledge of the facts. In contrast, the second principle gives the judge greater relevance, giving him the direction of the process in the search for the truth. This paper explores the juridification processes that take place in the peasant rounds of the Macusani District in the Puno region, viewed as a place where legal pluralism operates at the margins of the State. For that purpose, elements of the state are identified in the practices and discourse of the peasants. Especially, the legal language adopted by this peasant organization and what that means for the construction of its legitimacy and authority. This paper sets out to analyze some new rules of the New Criminal Procedure Code linked with the regulation of the civil action exercise in the criminal proceeding. The author indicates that the civil liability that is required in the criminal proceeding does not derivate from a commission of a crime: the crime has the penalty as a consequence and the civil wrong a civil penalty. The civil actor has to be interested on the existence of a damage, not that the fact that it is based on be a crime. One of the factors that determine the productivity inside a company is the state of the machinery with which is counted for the production. Our objective was to design a system that allows the engineers to supervise and to evaluate the state of the machinery, so that this in sot only repaired when it doesn't work, but rather one has the possibility to take a periodic registration of the operation of the same one. This article analyzes the Organic Law on Higher Education of Ecuador with regards to the links and the aspects that force the Higher Education Institutions to act on the expectations and needs of the community, considering the national planning, the development regime, the worldwide scientific, humanistic and technological improvement, and the cultural diversity in the country. The importance of the relation with the community is described and it is highlighted as the strongest indicator of universities categorization at the present time. For that effect, some ideas are provided on how a comprehensive working model should be structured for effective linkage among the university, business and community, using as reference the Academic Unit of Business Science.

The existence of early and timely resolution processes for matters of simple processing is now a reality. With the introduction of orality in judicial processes, the great challenge lies in obtaining true justice as a quality public service. What simple processes are solved in a differentiated way is not a problem, but a solution. The discussion now focuses on how to make it possible and what should be respected, beginning from the state criminal policy, the real reasons behind the reform, judicial guarantees and, finally, opportunities for improvement.

In this paper, the technical, financial and legal feasibility of employing solar cogeneration for the food industry sector in Peru will be demonstrated. In consequence, we will quantify the electric and thermal energy obtained from a conventional Rankine cycle, with the particularity that the water used to condense the steam that exits the turbine will be employed for the required processes in the industrial plants, because of the high temperature obtained from the heat exchange with the steam.
