Since the growing health crisis produced by COVID-19, our economic, social, and judicial environment has undergone several changes. Among these changes are the measures adopted by the judiciary to continue protecting rights and to continue with «normality» in its own work. This article comments on Directive No. 007-2020-CE-PJ approved by Administrative Resolution of the Executive Council of the Judiciary No. 000167-2020-CE-PJ, which implemented the «Simplified and Virtual Process of Food for Children and Adolescents». Indeed, it will be analyzed its main scopes and relevant modifications with regards to the traditional process. Likewise, the experience of the Superior Court of Justice of La Libertad with respect to the implementation of the virtual form of food demand will be taken into consideration.

The design and optimization of space, as well as visual merchandising, are techniques that impact the sale new concepts such as omnicanality and buying experience are fed by data analytics in order to describe the commercial mode; and new qualitative sources of information, among them color theory, specially help to understand and predict the impact of future decisions on the point of sale. This paper describes the utility of image processing techniques to innovate the retail market in the effort to extract useful information from advertising pieces frequently used in this sector.

En este trabajo de tesis se presenta el desarrollo de una herramienta software basada en el lenguaje XPDL, que incluye como parte de sus funcionalidades: la definición de procesos, la explosión de actividades, la definición de metodologías y la gestión de versiones de los procesos y metodologías. Para lograr dicho objetivo, se ha desarrollado una extensión al XPDL que permita el manejo de los conceptos de: explosión, metodologías y versionado de procesos, dado que son conceptos que no se encuentran incluidos de forma nativa en el mencionado lenguaje.

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the possibility of resuming the counting of the limitation period (Article 1997 of the Peruvian Civil Code), interrupted with the filing of the lawsuit, when the negligence of the plaintiff materializes in the labor judicial process and, specifically, when the process ends due to the non-attendance of the parties to the hearings scheduled in the first instance of the labor judicial process. It is proposed to carry out an analysis of interpretation –using the method of ratio legis for rules involved to verify whether the negligence described is comparable to abandonment of the process and, therefore, constitutes a case of ineffectiveness of the interruption of the limitation period.

This article analyzes the Organic Law on Higher Education of Ecuador with regards to the links and the aspects that force the Higher Education Institutions to act on the expectations and needs of the community, considering the national planning, the development regime, the worldwide scientific, humanistic and technological improvement, and the cultural diversity in the country. The importance of the relation with the community is described and it is highlighted as the strongest indicator of universities categorization at the present time. For that effect, some ideas are provided on how a comprehensive working model should be structured for effective linkage among the university, business and community, using as reference the Academic Unit of Business Science.

This paper analyzes the current estate of the diverse integration processes in South America; their different orientations and emphasis, their common denominators and divergences, but mainly, their necessity to impulse efforts and synergies searching for their convergence in a great sub regional integration project. This paper explores the juridification processes that take place in the peasant rounds of the Macusani District in the Puno region, viewed as a place where legal pluralism operates at the margins of the State. For that purpose, elements of the state are identified in the practices and discourse of the peasants. Especially, the legal language adopted by this peasant organization and what that means for the construction of its legitimacy and authority. Esta investigación se centra en la implementación de la reingeniería del proceso de medición de los Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) importados por un centro de distribución de una empresa especializada en la venta de productos para la mejora del hogar y materiales de construcción. Para identificar los factores que influyen en el proceso y optimizarlo, se realizó un estudio de tiempos y movimientos del proceso utilizando la herramienta conocida como diagrama de espagueti. Como resultado, se incrementó la productividad y disminuyeron los tiempos muertos, lo que permitió medir en menos tiempo el universo de SKU. El estudio también condujo a la configuración del sistema utilizando datos correctos, lo que facilitó la operación dentro del almacén.

Los padres ocupan un lugar muy importante en el crecimiento de los hijos, siendo uno de los principales garantes de un adecuado logro de las diferentes tareas que los hijos enfrentan en cada etapa. Así pues, por un lado, favorecen el desarrollo saludable proveyéndoles del sostén y acompañamiento que ellos necesitan (Carver y Scheier, 1997; Kantrowitz y Springen, 2005). Por otro, actúan como factor protector ante problemas de conducta, dificultades académicas, depresión, etc. (O’Connor, 1995; McCurdy y Scherman, 1996; Klein, Forehand, Armistead, Long, 1997; Ausloos, 1998; Wittekind y Vazsonyi, 2003).

Based on this principle, this study proposes that in the project management for the development of a web application, where the application’s implementation can be divided in processes with their own tools, resources and life cycle. Both O’Reilly (2007) and Ginige (1998) mention that the technologies to be used in the front-end of a web application are different from those of the back-end, making it possible to decouple the implementation into its own components from the side of the customer or web browser and from the applications servers, databases and static files.
