This contribution aims at showing the challenges faced by patients whose treatment for chronic and degenerative diseases implies weight control. Under a qualitative research approach, guided by psychoanalysis, in-depth interviews were conducted and data analyzed through content analysis. Results seem to indicate that the patients’ challenges have three dimensions: a) a socio-structurally institutional one, b) the therapeutic bond, and c) a psychic-drive correlate. It was concluded that patients attribute their main difficulties to the lack of institutional services and to the therapeutic bond; they do not acknowledge the inconsistencies in weight control within their psychic correlate, nor take responsibility for their treatment or self-care. Moreover, institutional shortcomings limit the treatment reach and contribute to the problem chronification.

Objective: To interpret the assessment of nursing activities in prenatal care from the pregnant woman's experience. Materials and Methods: The research is qualitative, hermeneutical phenomenological approach. As an information gathering technique that is used is the in-depth interview, through direct meetings with the 2 key actors with pseudonyms of water and sun. For the development of this study and data analysis was the Spiegelberg method that allows to study the field of consciousness and explore the people in study, based on their experiences. We have been interested in the study of this topic because, as part of an adult education team, the need to better understand the broad and complex peasant world, its production process, its daily life and the mechanisms to face its subsistence, is a task that is imposed on us every day. And, within it, the moment of exchange was a fundamental aspect for us to contribute some reflections about the peasant economy.

The enjoyment of human rights is fundamental for the development of human life. One of these rights is freedom of expression, which is affected by censorship; however, due to the principle of interdependence of human rights, censorship also violates cultural rights. In this text we will see the effects produced by the censorship of Boccaccio’s Decameron; starting from the scope of the violations of rights, the censorship process, and the content of the text, to the point of considering the law as an instrument of social control, through which groups of power can continue to exercise a hegemonic role over the population.

Objectives: Determine the percentage of medicines of poor-quality: Counterfeit and substandard, analyzed at “Quality Control Center (CNCC)” of National Institutes of Health (NIH), Peru in the period 2005-2014 and determine their types and features. Materials and Methods: A form was created to pick up relevant data directly from CNCC reports and from the Integrated System of Lab Management (SIGEL). OBJECTIVE: To assess the prevalence of paragonimosis among elementary school students from three villages of Condebamba valley, Cajamarca - Perú. MATERIAL AND METHODS: 77 school-age children underwent parasitologic examination in stools, skin test and counterimmunoelectrophoresis in those positive for skin reactivity. RESULTS: From 77 skin tests performed, 2 were positive (2,6%), which were also positive by counterimmunoelectrophoresis. All 77 stool samples were negative for Paragonimus eggs. CONCLUSION: These results showed a decreasing prevalence of human paragonimiasis among Condebamba valley children.

In Brazil, the telenovela has established itself as one of the most important products of television. Thus, it addresses the differences between social groups and disputes between them. The visibility for these groups that is built from this dynamic becomes a chance to promote their representation, when they see themselves as part of the nation. This study aims to understand the representation of Black women in the scenario of contemporary Brazilian telenovelas, focusing on Amor de Mãe (Dias & Villamarim, 2019–2021). In order to determine if there are significant differences between parental control of parents who are consumers and non-consumers of alcohol, from the perception of their daughters, were studied 643 adolescent girls of 15-17 years of age who are in highschool from seven educational institutions in four districts of Lima. For purposes of the study were administered The Parental Psychological Control Scales (Barber, 1996), and The Children of Alcoholics Screening Test (CAST 6) (Jones, 1983). We found significant differences in parental control between the two groups. More precisely, there were evidence that the adolescents perceive greater parental control from parents who they categorized as alcohol consumers.

This article critically examines constitutional courts in Latin America and raises the need to rethink the control of constitutionality from a deliberative perspective. Following Fernando Atria's criticisms and reflections on issues such as neoconstitutionalism, constitutional jurisdiction and constitutional concepts, as well as his conception of democratic deliberation and that of Jürgen Habermas, it integrates Hélène Landemore's proposal on open and lottocratic democracy as a way to democratize the control of constitutionality, with a view to laying the foundations for an institutional redesign that overcomes the limitations of the current judicial model and revitalizes the democratic principle.

Based on the review of the judicial reasoning on the “Diarios Chicha” case, both in the conviction and in the acquittal of former president Alberto Fujimori, the relevance of the context of the State of exception is analyzed, in which they were developed facts of an authoritarian state. It is postulated that the lack of an analysis and assessment of the context of discovery and of the conceptual elements on the State of exception, facilitated the acquittal of the former president of the use of public treasury money for the purchase of editorial lines of the written press in his eagerness for a second reelection.

This research work seeks to analyze from a criminological view the compliance as a crime prevention tool within the legal entities. In order to do so, it is necessary to use modern criminological theories of greater scientific importance, in order to understand the raison d’être of compliance within a company, and ensure its best use as a state criminological policy. Likewise, a historical account of its genesis at the international level and of its incorporation in the Peruvian legal system is made.

La tortuga verde Chelonia mydas figura en la Lista Roja de la UICN como una especie en peligro de extinción y el éxito de las estrategias para su conservación depende en parte de las contribuciones al conocimiento sobre su biología. En este estudio se utilizó secuencias de la región control del ADN mitocondrial para evaluar la composición de haplotipos e inferir el origen natal de 196 tortugas verdes muestreadas en el estuario de Virrilá (VE) y en la bahía de Paracas (PB) ubicadas en Perú, durante los años 2015 y 2016. Se encontró un total de veinte haplotipos, de los cuales doce estuvieron vinculados a las principales colonias de anidación del Pacífico oriental, cinco fueron considerados huérfanos y tres fueron nuevos. In this work, we presented a review of the specimens of mycophagous Coccinellini from various provinces of the Cusco Department, south east of Peru. This group currently has nine species in the country, within the genera Oxytella Weise 1902, and Psyllobora Chevrolat 1836. In the material examined the occurrence of five of them is reported: Oxytella longula Weise, Psyllobora marshalli Crotch, P. abancayana Almeida, P. constantini González, Perla & Almeida, and P. hybrida (Mulsant); in addition to three other species, not yet identified, within the genus Psyllobora. For each species a diagnosis, photographs and photomicrographs of habit and genital structures, and information on their distribution in Cusco are presented.
