Este estudio tiene como objetivo contribuir con esta agenda pendiente, investigando el rol de estos dos factores en la diversificación de ingresos de un hogar en actividades no agrícolas en los Andes peruanos, una región montañosa con gran variabilidad climática intraestacional y conectividad espacial limitada pero creciente, donde la población rural la población se vio severamente afectada por el conflicto interno que tuvo lugar en el país durante los años ochenta y noventa.

The low number of women in the so-called STEM fields has been the subject of research around the world. Such investigations are important for expanding the discussion and reflection on the disparity between the number of men and women in these areas. With this in mind, this article seeks to contribute to an understanding of the Brazilian academic scenario regarding the participation of women in the STEM (world of) work. Thus, the question that guided our mapping was: what is the national production on women’s participation in the Brazilian STEM scene? To this end, we searched the following databases: SCOPUS, Web of Science, Google Scholar and Scielo, and found a total of 47 references. These were analyzed and separated into six groups according to their central proposal.

Informal mining in the Peruvian highlands, particularly in La Rinconada, Puno, Peru, shapes an urban environment that reinforces the exclusion of women from public spaces. This article uses a right-to-the-city approach and gender-sensitive urbanism to analyze how the spatial configuration of the city—characterized by precarity and the absence of the state—limits women’s access to essential services, safety, and participation. Based on participant observation and interviews, the research shows how informal mining dynamics and structural violence restrict women’s mobility and relegate them to subordinate roles within the community. The research aims to establish criteria for the treatment of the application, extension and termination of preventive detention in a context of a State of Emergency due to COVID-19 in order to strengthen the interpretation of criminal judges. It was developed in an experimental quantitative design, of a descriptive purposeful type, the sample consists of 09 criminal Judges of the Superior Court of Justice of Lambayeque, Province of Chiclayo, 09 Provincial Head Prosecutors of the three Provincial Criminal Prosecutors of Chiclayo and 60 criminal lawyers the Illustrious Lambayeque Bar Association; From the results, it is emphasized that 67% of Judges, 78% of prosecutors and 77% of Lawyers consider that it is important to develop as legal doctrine criteria that complement judicial decisions regarding preventive detention, contextualizing a State of Emergency. This paper proposes a situated reflection on the political potential of the concept of those environmentally affected, in a framework of fight for rights, in order to promote a dense conceptualization, according to the situations of suffering and violations suffered by victims of environmental pollution. First we describe an experience rich in examples, highlighting the institutional set of the injustices andthose devices of mis-recognition. Also we describe the communities formed by and for the victims. Secondly, we make a review of some contexts of use of the notion of environmental affected that can contribute to strength —in the particular case analyzed and by extension, to others— for a public and political self-understanding towards effective recognition.

Background: This article aims to carry out a review on social prescription and trust regarding the deployment of social benefits in the Elderly Centers (CAM) of the Social Health Security (EsSalud) during the health emergency due to COVID-19. EsSalud in its 126 CAM provides social benefits to older adults, that is, activities for the use of free time that are linked to social prescription; that when the sanitary emergency was decreed they turned to the virtual modality. This article describes the technical characteristics and performance tests of the broadband wireless network implemented in the Santiago River basin (Amazon Region - Peru). It also details the context and the process of inter-institutional coordination in which this project has been developed. Purpose: Analyze, implement, and suggest authentic assessment strategies at different levels of a pre-service teacher education program for use in face-to-face and virtual contexts. Method: Action research that takes place in a Chilean Jesuit university where authentic evaluation is promoted in its pedagogical model. This study examines the relationship between environmental concern and well-being among adolescents in rural communities, recognizing that these perceptions influence urbanization processes in Bolivia. The research was based on surveys administered to 639 adolescents, aged 12 to 18, across four rural communities, using validated instruments such as the Environmental Concern Scale and the Satisfaction with Life Scale. The findings show a positive association between well-being and a stronger emotional connection with nature. In contrast, attitudes such as environmental apathy or an exclusively human-centered (anthropocentric) perspective tend to be linked to lower levels of well-being. In 1884, Professor James Henry Worman published the first volume of his natural method of language teaching which, according to the cover, was an adaptation of the method created by Swiss educator Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi. International law has sought to regulate human mobility throughout history, yet it still faces significant limitations and a marked Eurocentric bias. Forty years after the Cartagena Declaration on Refugees, this article analyzes the discussions of the Cartagena+40 Process, which resulted in the Chile Declaration and Plan of Action 2024–2034. These discussions identified the main normative and migration policy challenges in Latin America. This article aims to contribute to critical dialogue and encourage further research to update international law.
