This paper describes the process followed by an internarional NFO, ITDG -Practical Solutions, to improve communication impact on its practices and institutional policies. It shows an inventory of the main challenges that NGOs are facing in the field of communication, the inrernarional scenario factors which generate them and the route this organization followed to meet them. The designed program, advances and lessons learned in the way, and also the considerations that must be taken to follow similar processes are described in detail.

This research aimed to implement a Peace Education Project (PEP) in a first-grade classroom of a primary school located in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. The intervention promoted a set of prosocial competencies in students, teachers and families; for this universal and focused strategies were developed. A mixed approach was used, with evaluations before and after. Information was collected through participatory action-research. Some findings indicate that systematic PEPs in the classroom decrease violence and strengthen prosociability. There was a reduction in the school violence index from 1.12 to 1.10 and an increase in student prosociability from 3.34 to 3.70. The strategies favorably affected the maintenance of a school climate of cordiality, greater empathy, assertiveness, better management of emotions and an increase in friendship networks.

In the construction industry, productivity is sought to improve by innovating time management, a poor indicator in projects where activities are executed conventionally. This article examines in particular which are the risks inherent in any construction project, and from them, explains the risk assignment method used in traditional construction contracts, noting that it does not adequately solve the allocation of risks and attribution of blame, making construction projects more expensive. In response to how to face these difficulties, this paper studied the collaborative contracts, their common elements, classes and the way in which risks are distributed, making a detailed analysis of the collaborative contract par excellence, that is, the alliancing or Integrated Project Delivery, to finish carrying out a particular examination of how risk assignment is treated in standardized international construction contractual models, such as FIDIC, NEC and FAC-1 contracts.

The evaluation of the occupational health and safety management systems was carried out to mitigate risks in construction projects in the Tacna region in a COVID-19 pandemic situation. Essentially, the loss suffered by the global construction industry during the time when the COVID-19 is spread is not caused by that pandemic itself but caused by a changed circumstance which mainly resulted by anti-COVID-19 policy or law conducted by different jurisdictions. Where contract keeps silent in this regard, legal solution should be made by contemplating the law in different jurisdictions toward changed circumstances, which commonly includes situations where performance of contract become more onerous or impossible, and taking account of the factual environment which determines or impacts the changed circumstance. This paper, from a comparative law perspective, discusses and concludes the doctrine of changed circumstance in some typical jurisdictions, and, by taking consideration of law and fact, provides some approaches and potential legal solutions to deal with that loss.
