Esta investigación tuvo como principal objetivo demostrar que el uso de las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación tiene una relación positiva con los contenidos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de la carrera de administración y negocios internacionales en el programa EPAD de la universidad Alas Peruanas. El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación del uso de las TIC y competencias digitales en los docentes de instituciones educativas de la UGEL Sur y Norte de Arequipa. La investigación presenta un enfoque cuantitativo, nivel aplicado, tipo no experimental, diseño descriptivo-correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por 12 898 docentes de los tres niveles de instituciones educativas de las UGEL Sur y Norte de la ciudad de Arequipa. Purpose: The present study aimed to examine the relationship between information and communication technologies (ICT) diffusion, financial development and economic growth in the panel of developing countries for 2005–2019. Design/methodology/approach: The study employed the principal component analysis (PCA) to extract the index of ICT diffusion. First-generation panel unit root tests such as Levine Lin Chu (LLC), Im Pesaran Shin (IPS), Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) and Phillips and Perron (PP) were employed to check the stationarity of the variables. Pedroni and Kao co-integration techniques were used to examine the existence of the long-run relationship, and co-integration coefficients were estimated using FMOLS and dynamic ordinary least squares (DOLS). In a context where digital media increases the proliferation of information, this research addresses media literacy as a possible solution to fake news. This article analyzes the relationship that fourth-year high school students from a school in Lima have with the media they interact with, in order to evaluate the degree of development of their media literacy. To do this, the CRAAP test was applied, which allows us to know the criteria they take into account when distinguishing a fake news story from a true one based on levels of currency, relevance, authorship, accuracy, and purpose of the text. As a result, the students evaluated false and true information very similarly, leading to the conclusion that they do not possess an adequate level of media literacy. Additionally, some clues are given to interpret the problem.

The Internet and social networks have become the most attractive and accessible information channel for young people. Objectives. Examine the behavior of university students when facing fake news and their opinion on this phenomenon. Methodology. Semi-open surveys conducted mainly for Journalism students from the University of the Basque Country. In a second phase, the study was extended to students from other areas of knowledge. Results. Online media use is commonplace for university students and a high percentage of them confess to have been fooled by fake news on at least one occasion. Conclusions and discussion. The students consider they have a high rate of alert when facing fake news. There are some differences, according to the area of knowledge, of the subjects that they consider more invaded by the fake news.

The relationship between executive functions (EF), creative personality, and academic performance in Argentine university students was examined. A total of 248 students (M = 22.97 years, SD = 4.43) from various Argentine provinces participated. The Adult Executive Functioning Inventory (ADEXI), the Cognitive Flexibility Scale, the Creative Behavior Scale (ECC), and the Creative Personality Scale (EPC) were used, along with academic performance data and sociodemographic information. Data were collected online through Google Forms and analyzed using Spearman correlations and mediation analysis with robust Maximum Likelihood estimator and Bootstrap.
