This research is about what the “Aprendo en casa” strategy in Peru in 2020 meant from two of its main resources, radio and television. The objective was to analyze communicationally and evaluate the programs of both media. Thirty-two pieces from all educational levels were discussed, in seven months, with 27 expert communicators, and the experience from 50 target actors of the strategy was evaluated. The study was methodologically naturalistic, with a qualitative approach, indirect hermeneutical and phenomenological typologies, and under an open coding design. Eight categories generated by free will were found to show results on biased content and questionable forms of presentation; gaps were made visible at the educational, digital, and generational levels, and disarticulation between the education and communication axes. This paper proposes a close observation for journalism in the era of WhatsApp from the follow up of the program from April 8 to 12, 2019 of “Jor- nal BandNews Rio – 1ª Edição”, a radio news programme. From the thinking of researchers such as Lage (2001), Traquina (2005), Castells (2015), Wolf (1985) and Aguiar (2014), the study strains around classic theories such as newsmaking and gatekeeper in contemporary times. In conclusion, it presents the changes in the routines of press professionals that make it possible to think about the emergence of zapkeeper and audience newsmaking.

Lexical semantics argues that, in communication, there is a linguistic code that, when encrypted, allows us to understand how the meanings of a word are structured and act according to its level of arbitrariness. Now, this article deals with the meanings and uses of the word ghost, which is the result of a metaoperation that is constituted in an image (cognitive base), as it becomes an image (communicative operation) between the signifier and the signified. The conceptualization of our ghosts reveals, with respect to our common sense, a response of their significance in the brain associated with ideas that in language are conceived from a positive, neutral, or negative character. For data collection, media monitoring, a quantitative technique that uses a codebook and coding sheet as instruments, was employed. A total of 3261 news items from six selected newspapers (three from Lima and three from other regions) were reviewed. Radios face significant challenges in the face of digital transformation. The purpose of this study, based on the current state of the radio industry, is to analyze the opportunities and challenges that digitalization presents for traditional radio stations and public radio in Ecuador. It uses a qualitative methodology, where it explores various indicators and trends in the contemporary radio ecosystem. The results show that, although the funding and prominence of public radio has decreased over time, the digital transformation opens doors to connect with younger audiences and to diversify the content offered. In addition, the potential of new digital formats and platforms is highlighted. Argentinean online media have followed international trends in their digital trajectory and they have taken on the constant changes in the media ecosystem by innovating with the production of multimedia and interactive formats designed for the Internet, as well as technological initiatives such as virtual reality. From the organizational point of view, the convergence of newsrooms and the creation of labs are some of the identified features. The visual content in the coverage of COVID-19 in the digital editions of the most consumed Spanish scientific journals during this epidemiologicalcrisis is analyzed. The objectives are to analyze the presence, number, typology, hyperlink and authorship of the image in the informative pieces. The image (n= 549) is analyzed in the informative pieces published in muyinnteresante. es (n= 204) and nationalgeographic.com.es (N=85) from February 7 to May 14, 2020. A content analysis was chosen by previously established codes to identify the variables under study. It is established that the potential of the image is not used in the digital environment and proposals for improvement are made to optimize the potential of the image due to its importance as a source of knowledge in times of health crisis.
