In countries with high seismicity, such as Peru, Chile, and Colombia, the mid- to high-rise buildings typically use reinforced concrete (RC) wall systems, which have generally demonstrated adequate seismic performance. However, cases such as the collapse of the Alto Río building during the 2010 Chile earthquake and severe damage reported in other wallstructured buildings reveal that, under certain conditions, these systems may be vulnerable. Modern RC wall buildings in Peru have not yet been subjected to a severe earthquake, so it is uncertain whether current design procedures established in Peruvian standards are adequate to provide sufficient safety or to achieve a repairable state after a major earthquake. Cybercrime is a global problem that affects various sectors, particularly the financial sector, where cybercriminals exploit users' lack of security awareness to obtain confidential information through techniques such as phishing, smishing, vishing, and ultimately seizing the OTP code to carry out fraudulent transactions. The objective of this research is to develop the SectraBank model, which incorporates security measures such as the use of the IMEI code, fingerprint authentication, and geolocation to mitigate cyber fraud attacks, specifically in the forms of SIM Swapping and Fake Apps used by cybercriminals to capture the OTP code. To evaluate the effectiveness of the model, simulations of real attacks were conducted on mobile phones of 50 users, divided into control and experimental groups. The infiltration is one of the hydrological processes that receives a lot of importance in the environmental engineering and of water resources, per decades many investigators have come doing efforts to model the process of infiltration, departing from the equation of Richards (1931). La generación de casos de prueba unitarios es una tarea importante en las pruebas de software, ya que permite detectar errores de manera temprana; sin embargo, es un proceso que demanda mucho tiempo y esfuerzo. Las primeras propuestas para abordar este problema aplican enfoques tradicionales que se basan en aleatoriedad, [1] y búsquedas [2]. In this paper, we study the effect of sloshing in a compartment of a naval artifact. The sloshing is of great importance in the dynamics of ships and offshore platforms, it is one of the factors that may cause the capsizing. This happens when the ship is under undesirable conditions, such as progressive flooding or fault conditions. The goal is to represent numerically the effect of sloshing. The numerical code is validated through comparisons with numerical and experimental data obtained in the literature. The numerical model is based on the finite difference method, where the Euler equations are solved using the upwind scheme and TVD (Total Variation Diminishing) Roe (1984) and Sweby (1984). This hypothesis is contrasted by comparing two elements. First, the evolution trends of the media sector in Latin America collected by sectorial databases of the World Association of Newspapers and New Publishers, the Eurodata´s general audience report, the Pew State of the News Media and the Global Entertainment & Media Outlook 2016-2020. In the sugar industry, evaporators play an important role in the crystallization process of crystal sugar and heat economy. In this thesis two main objectives are intended to achieve it. The first objective was to determine the behavior of the field of velocities, temperatures and pressures of cane juice, of a two-phases system of a evaporator Roberts. The second objective was to determine the effect of inlet design on the juice to the evaporator heat transfer coefficient. As a study object was defined both the cane juice and Roberts evaporator. En este trabajo presentamos un modelo para la construcción de un tomógrafo portátil de pocas vistas. Se considera: (1) un tomógrafo de forma circular con 80 cm de diámetro, con imágenes reconstruidas circulares de 20 cm de diámetro. (2) El tomógrafo tiene 6 vistas con 36 conos por vista. Los 216 detectores están fijos sobre la superficie interna del tomógrafo. (3) Las fuentes puntuales están en posiciones fijas. Para la reconstrucción de imagen utilizamos una discretización que considera los caminos de la radiación entre la fuente y el detector, la intersección de estos caminos forman una discretización denominada base natural. The intake flange is a mechanical device that restricts the amount of mass air flow to be injected into the engine cylinder, and is used in racing vehicles. In the present work, the air flow is simulated in a 2D computational domain with axial symmetry for the geometry of a convergent-divergent intake flange, in order to determine the variations of the thermodynamic parameters of the flow field. For the simulation of the flow, the ANSYS-Fluent code that uses the finite volume method was used.
