In this paper, the technical, financial and legal feasibility of employing solar cogeneration for the food industry sector in Peru will be demonstrated. In consequence, we will quantify the electric and thermal energy obtained from a conventional Rankine cycle, with the particularity that the water used to condense the steam that exits the turbine will be employed for the required processes in the industrial plants, because of the high temperature obtained from the heat exchange with the steam. In addition, we will detail the processes in which the obtained energy will be employed, the quantity of devices to be used in this system, as well as the required specifications and the thermodynamic parameters, for a proper operation of the cogeneration system. In the present study, the control of the pyrolysis temperature was carried out in a gasification process of eucalyptus wood, its prediction is made based on the operating parameters of the reactor to ensure the obtaining of a synthesis gas with the required quality. The results obtained from the mathematical modeling for the prediction of the pyrolysis temperature with the use of artificial intelligence techniques and the development of artificial neural networks are shown, with experimental data of the process. For this reason, an experimental statistical design of type 3n was implemented, with two additional replications, by means of which the training of an artificial neural network capable of predicting the pyrolysis temperature in a downdraft type gasifier with cogeneration was carried out. The research results obtained on the effect that occurs on the properties of the synthesis gas obtained as a result of a biomass downdraft gasification process is presents in this paper, working with a cogeneration system internal to the reactor. A study of the previous related works was carried out, from which the dependent and independent variables necessary to evaluate the final quality of the process in the presence and absence of cogeneration were determined. For this, an experimental statistical design of four levels of type 4n was implemented, which allowed the performance of a comparative statistical analysis of the working states of the gasifier. On the other hand, an energy and exergy analysis of both states is presented where the potential of the gasification process to reuse thermal energy can be verified by incorporating a cogeneration system.

The study focuses on the design of the MK3 kiln as an eco-friendly solution to mitigate the pollution of (PM2.5 and PM10) generated by artisanal brick kilns. The MK3 kiln consists of three chambers constructed with construction and demolition waste (CDW), interconnected by lower ducts that aid in the continuous flow of heat and filter pollutants. Each kiln has a 5 cm opening in the dome to accommodate a copper industrial torch with a power of 1080 BTU/h, equivalent to 0.32 kW. Additionally, a 220V axial fan is installed in the chimney to supply the necessary air to the kilns through upper ducts, allowing complete combustion during the brick baking process. As a result, PM2.5 was measured at a quantity of 23 μg/m 3 , and PM10 emissions at 90 μg/m 3 , both of which do not exceed Environmental Quality Standards (ECA). The study of the MK4 kiln reveals notable results, highlighting its efficiency in firing bricks through convection heat exchange, avoiding heat losses in kilns (1) and (2), achieving a final firing temperature of 995.6 °C in 160 min, this system not only accelerates the cooking process, but also contributes significantly to the overall efficiency, benefiting comprehensive operational efficiency not only improves the quality of the final product, but also promotes sustainability and profitability in the manufacture of bricks, indicating a faster and more uniform firing.
