El mieloma múltiple representa a nivel mundial el 2% de todas las muertes de cáncer, en el Perú en el año 2018 representó el 1.7 % del total de pacientes con cáncer. El tratamiento estándar es la quimioterapia a dosis altas y trasplante autólogo de células progenitoras hematopoyéticas (CPH). Las CPH que poseen el antígeno CD34 pueden producir células sanguíneas como plaquetas, eritrocitos, células mieloides y linfoides. Para movilizar las CPH de la medula ósea hacia sangre periférica se usan dosis de factor estimulante de colonias de granulocitos. Objetivo. The objective of this research work was to implement a model to calculate the number of surviving cancer cells during radiotherapy treatment, for which an analysis of the interaction process of radiation with cancer cells was carried out, identifying the input variables and the set of operations necessary to obtain the expected result. As a result, information was obtained on the number of cancer cells day by day during the radiotherapy treatment. In conclusion, the implementation of the interaction model can help in treatment planning since we can have an approximation of the tumor volume knowing the number of surviving cancer cells. © 2023 Latin American and Caribbean Consortium of Engineering Institutions. El presente trabajo tiene como propósito, el estudio, formulación e implementación de células de producción en el área de armado de la empresa Negocios e Inversiones HGS E.I.R.L de calzado para dama para aumentar su productividad.Para lograr este estado, se realizó reuniones con el gerente para señalar las expectativas, además se identificó el producto representativo, el cual resulto de la evaluación de la demanda de los productos a producir para el mes de Mayo a Junio del 2015. La Neurocisticercosis (NCC) es una infección helmíntica que afecta al sistema nervioso central (SNC) causada por la forma larvaria (cisticerco) de Taenia solium. Es una enfermedad pleomórfica y aunque se han realizado numerosos estudios para comprender los eventos implicados en NCC, estos son difíciles de estudiar en humanos y siguen siendo un reto de investigación. Ante ello, el uso de modelos animales ha permitido comprender parcialmente la patogénesis de NCC. Así, se ha reportado, isquemia, disfunción de la barrera hematoencefálica, angiogénesis, muerte celular y neuroinflamación. The presence of Gigartina chamissoi (seaweed) in the formulation is important as a source of iodine, complex polysaccharides (fiber) and natural gelling agents which increase its biological value. The purpose of this work was determining the gene-toxic damage of three concentrations of the acetaminophen paracetamol® in Mesocricetus auratus bone marrow cells, and in order to achieve this, five groups were established. These groups were treated with physiological saline solution (negative control), 50 mg/kg/pc. of cyclophosphamide (positive control) and 125, 500, 1000 mg/kg/pc. paracetamol® daily for 10 days. After the last administration, the bone marrow was isolated and processed with a micronucleus test, obtaining chromosomes and organizing the nucleolus regions (AgNOR). A significant increase of micronuclei (MN) was observed in different concentrations of paracetamol® (25.33 ± 4.04*, 31.0 ± 1.0*y 36.33 ± 0.58*) and cyclophosphamide (45.66 ± 7.37*) respectively, regarding the negative control (7.16 ± 0.28 *). Objective: Describe the chromosomal genotoxicity Eucalyptus globulus Labill meristems induced by caffeine andthe aberrations caused carbetamida in each mitotic phase. Methodology: Seeds sown in sterile Petri dishes with 20seeds per seven days of germination, the roots reach a length of one to two centimeters disinfected in bleach solution - distilled water (3:1). Five strains of Kluyveromyces marxianus a one of Gandida pseudotropicalis were cultured in medium M-1 for productión of 13- galactosidasa (E.C : 3:2:1:23). The strain Kluyveromyces mandanus NRRL- Y - 1109 was selecteed for the best production of enzyme and the maxímum yield of enzyme was obtaíned on 5% of lactose supplemented with 0.5% yeast extract , 0.75% (NH4)2 S04 y 0.45% K2HP04 (w/v). lt obtained a yield of 5.43 U/mg of protein and 1.31 A.UoNPcl mg of dry weight. The extraction of the enzyme from viable cells was performed by toluene 2% (v/v), during 15 hours of treatment at 30°C, in 0.1 M potassium phosphate buffer, pH 7.0 ± 0.1, supplemented with 1 mM magnesium and 0.1 mM manganese sulfate . The yield of immobilization of enzyme on chitin treated with glutaraldehide was 41%, being the optimum pH of 6.6 ± 0.1. The values of Km and Vm for immobilized using lactase as substrate...

Se obtuvieron diecinueve VHHs (dominios variables únicos de los anticuerpos de cadena pesada) que unen a CD105 (endoglina) humano, un co-receptor endotelial de TFG-β implicado en la regulación de la angiogénesis y el desarrollo de tumores, mediante screening por phage display de una biblioteca de ADNc de VHH obtenida de alpacas inmunizadas con un lisado de una línea celular de cáncer de vejiga que sobreexpresa CD105 (T24). Las secuencias de los VHH se analizaron con ExPASY, GeneDoc y BLAST y mostraron las características estructurales típicas de los VHHs. Ellas se clonaron y expresaron en pET22b(+)/E.coli y los VHHs recombinantes se purificaron por cromatografía de afinidad. La Ley Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre en el Perú, permite la caza de subsistencia de la fauna silvestre para autoconsumo y el comercio de pieles por las comunidades locales. Estas pieles son secadas en la modalidad de seco dulce y luego almacenadas en las viviendas de los pobladores hasta su comercialización. Por lo tanto, son altamente manipuladas y expuestas a efectos ambientales diversos. En el estudio se recolectó 300 muestras de pieles, procedentes de tres cuencas de ríos (Amazonas, Napo y Pacaya- Samiria) y se estandarizó un protocolo de extracción del ADN para pieles de Pecari, evaluándose dos métodos de extracción de ADN (Fenol– Cloroformo – Alcohol isoamilico y por columna).
